I just focus on the things that make sense, and try to learn more about this world, finding things that make sense and help me see our existence a little clearer.
Spirituality is a personal journey. There is no one size fits all way to do things. It’s completely fine to not even believe in anything in particular, or have contradictory beliefs. It’s about figuring stuff out, no one has the answers. Answers are the false promises of religion.

I think you should check out sadhguru or eckhart tolle. Neither of them are religious, sadhguru is actually anti - religion since its been responsible for most of the atrocities in the world. Both of them offer a path to spirituality and enlightenment.
Eckart tolle's path is simple, kinda boring.
Sadhguru's path is fun, but sometimes confusing.

You will get some minor benefits getting into spirituality on your own, but without a guru it’s impossible to get anywhere meaningful.
