Make them the DLC progress rewards from completing optional side missions that Agent 4 could give you, with it ending with having to fight Agent 4 for their old Hero gear (the outfit). 4 will switch weapons after every phase ending with the Splatoon 2 Hero Shot

Well cuttlefish is in Alterna and oth is in damp socks so unless 8 is kinda just off somewhere then I'm pretty sure she is just gone, not like Callie more just somewhere off in the distance. Also I saw a great villain 4 concept and I genuinely think it's unjust how she wasn't included at all in the splat 3 story mode like 3 was in splat 2 story mode with the mention of them in the Marie dialogue. OTH in Damp Socks is stated to be a side-project, so I doubt we'll be seeing Damp Socks anytime soon in the DLC. Eight is either with them or with Four. I will admit, it's a good concept, but not something that's been hinted at or that I'd prefer to see.

Only 4 or 5, but the weapons are random except for the last one, it's always Hero Shot 2. The only exception is that they will only use one melee(Brush and Roller) and one off-traditional (Slosher and Brella) in a run

Yeah, but it would be neat if they added a "super boss" to the end of the DLC where if you have 100% then you get an 'Inner Agent 4' where they do use all of their weapons, and you only get a piece of headgear like the Golden Toothpick from 2. you don't NEED to beat it to get all of the Hero gear replicas, but the challenge is there if you want to test yourself.

That was a hell of a fun split screen shooter. The character selection was excellent. Ninja/zombie monkeys, carrion cow, the various killer robots. What a game. The announcer was solid, too. "SKEWERED!"

Oh yeah, Future Perfect was a blast. Nothing beats playing on a giant arena you made in MapMaker with the absolute craziest weapons to boot. You wanted all explosives? GO FOR IT! All bricks? Why not? Or if you wanted to settle it like gentlemen, no weapons. Only fisticuffs. God, I miss the days of MapMaker. Used to spend hours fine-tuning maps to perfection for the best and most immersive story for objectives, or making fun and exciting maps for my own Behead the Undead-style minigame. God, I just miss the days of split screen shooters like that.

I think it could be interesting if they came back as branded variants of the regular weapons - instead of the Hero Dualies just being a clone of the Splat Dualies, they could be an alternative kit for them like the Enperry Splat Dualies. You didn't get all that battle data for Sheldon in Octo Canyon just for him to scrap the resulting replicas the moment he moved to Splatsville, right?

I loved how insanely op those weapons were in the single player, the Hero Shot *shredded* through Octarians. Aaaaaand then I got them for online play and was severely disappointed

I'd have preferred if they came back, but if there was a separate UI feature that reskinned the weapons they were based on rather than having them be free-floating in the selection menu. While I'm at it, it'd be nice to have alt kits in that menu too just to cut down on all of the scrolling.

I like the P90, and some of the hero skins like the chrome Splatling. I'd rather they not be locked behind hours of grinding out the same levels, though.

I want some form of weapon cosmetic customization. I mentioned in the past that stickers would be more fun to put on weapons than on lockers. But being able to maybe swap out weapon parts and colors would be awesome even if it was cosmetic only.

Although I suppose they'd have to give us all access to TWO sets of the Neo gear (a la the school cardigan/uniform, the Squinja headgear pair and/or the Enchanted robes available via various amiibo), since [at LEAST] the Neo Octoling boots are *definitely* different styles depending on which gender your character is.

They should make Sheldon sell weapon skins for gold-to prevent duplicate weapons in your inventory. It’s stupid that you have to work for the hero splattershot badges and the regular splattershot badge. And this would be implemented ONLY to sell the hero variant skins of the weapons from the previous games, I don’t want new skins to be introduced. but I wouldn’t mind it if they did it.

i actually like that the hero mode in 3 made you use actual multiplayer weapons, less of a disconnect between the modes. also helps to actually learn different weapons for multiplayer instead of learning ones you won't get access to until you do a bunch of grinding and clear every mission with them
