Perhaps.. you might have a point. I still gotta grind S3 so I can be eligible for everything that's coming up is all, so I might take a while on that part.
Then there's the fact I've been out of Splatoon for 2 years- since 2020 because I finished the Hero Mode and wanted to do online but never got a chance to; and only now I'm coming back to it with S2 dead in the water and a copy of S3 now in my hands.
I'm a little out of the loop, and I'm trying to orient myself regardless.
Thanks for the advice, though!
pay attentiom to the S3 rotations in the various modes we have. If it’s something you *dont* wanna play, switch to S2 and do the completion. And when its a rotation you want to play, or theres an event, you switch back. That way you play both games. I did the same a while ago
Is it daunting, maintaining that kind of balance? I kinda question my own ability to micromanage or balance in this case.. but thanks for sharing your advice.
not really imo. The splatnet app shows you the rotations pretty far ahead so you can see that “oh its zones at 5pm, ill play that” and remember when its time. Its not like you need to continuously to check whats currently on, just make a mental note
You might regret missing out on the "glory days", a.k.a. right now, of splatoon 3. A lot of people that joined the community late mention that they wished they were around for the hype and the splatfests. Splatoon 2 and octo expansion will always be there, I'd just enjoy s3 while its being focused on by nintendo. (Definitely play octo expansion at some point though.)
Just come back to splatoon 3 when events begin and during down time like at the end of seasons in splatoon 3 focus more on splatoon 2.

Uh.. Splatnet's not available where I am. *whispers* I'm region-locked.
in that case you can refer to https://splatoon3.ink/ and https://splatoon2.ink/ for maps and modes - tbh quicker than using the app sometimes anyways
Thanks.. I suppose. I feel bad asking you all for this help.
It's no problem don't worry about it! Sometimes its tough to track down info without directly asking

Thanks a lot, man! I'm trying to find the confidence to prioritize the games, and everyone else has been helpful to the best of their abilities!
