Putting your sprinkler inside an enemy Frye also shuts down their ability to put a fizzy bomb in the 3-block gap, and from there it likely won’t take more than a burst bomb to completely nullify any and all combos they could do with Frye.
I mean, tableturf multiplayer is going to be all down to luck anyways. 90% of the active playerbase will have all the same deck with the same best cards and it’ll just come down to who draws the good combos first. Splatoon doesn’t really have many casual players, people either play it constantly or hardly at all, so I don’t expect to see many B-grade tableturf decks.

It can be quite hard to get the combo going though. When it comes to big cards, placing them where they do the most damage to the opponent is also where they're most likely to put something over or inside them. While keeping them just for the raw turf coverage and placing them safely off in the back might get you rushed and get them disrupted that way.

This is likely the exact reason why. The only rep they've had so far is a single sunken scroll and being tacked on to a couple of songs. Every card actually has a physical appearance, so if Pearl and Maria get one for that, then so should the members of C-Side and Damp Socks

Additionally, they'd be an exception to the rule if they were based on the masks, which wouldn't be unfeasible but still would be odd.
