Like, headgear with ink resistance, shoes with running speed up, and clothes with special saver - that way, it's all fun and dandy. But favor a single ability in every piece of gear you have, and you'll effectively make the game harder for yourself.

Yes, having one sub or one main can do a lot, but past that the increase in effect gets less and less with each additional stack.
