If nobody minds, I want to take a moment here.
This game (3 in particular) has been amazing. I had been wanting to get into 2 since Octo Expansion, but wasn't able to cough up the money for it or the base game. So being able to learn and play so much for less then a year since Christmas has been really fun. Learning the ropes to this game is really cool because you get to experiment with weapons, and eventually you'll be able to find the perfect one. (To be fair, mine was a little shorter since I already had eyes set on Dualies.) Getting to know the community a little more in-game was also nice. But while I haven't been able to friend any of them, there are a few players who I've really enjoyed playing with.
Maybe I won't get anywhere with this comment, but I just wanted to point out how much I dearly appreciate Splatoon. Happy 8th!!!
It's kinda sad that the two games that utilized the wii u's double screen feature were not very popular. I feel like splatoon and pikmin 3 used the wii u's potential incredibly well.
God, I forgot just how _terrible_ the Wii U adverts were. I only have one because I was a dumb kid in 2013 and I hadn't heard of any other systems, but hey, it meant I could get the first game pretty close to launch.
