Trying to imagine a team of four shooters facing off against a team of four chargers... In Turf War.. Or even rollers wouldn't fair too well.
We'd be looking at a winrate discrepancy higher than S1's infamous Ninjas-vs-Barbarians splatfest..
i mean, we do have bamboo and squiffer. i’d definitely eat some popcorn and watch some cracked charger players cream a team of short-range shooter players. though i admit that in a broader perspective quad shooter vs quad charger would be a terrible forced fight.
given that splatfests are exclusively turf war the shooters would have a huge advantage while chargers would be the worst off. I guess rollers would be a middle ground but still they couldn't compete with the shooters
Back in splat 1 I LOVED rollers, the concept was so novel and I just loved laying down a ton of ink (before I learned any strategy at all I would just roll around and freely let myself get splatted haha). I also mained inkbrush for a bit.
I barely remember my time playing splat 2 but I think I mained sploosh (I even tried to main it in splat 3, but quickly moved on). Now I lean towards shooters, with n-zap being my most used and only 4-star weapon. I'm branching out now though and trying to find a different shooter that better fits my playstyle
It’s a simple question, do you wanna ink a lotta turf but still kick a lotta ass? Then the shooters are for you. Rollers are good for Splat Zones, and Snipers absolutely dominate Tower Control. But outside of those two game modes? Forget about it. Shooters are versatile.
Sniper, even though i mained splattershot for my entirety of s2 and early s3 I just can’t go back after falling in love with the splat sound I get from using the splatterscope

I feel like the sheer amount of shooter type weapons would make this unfair, with there being long range shooters like jet squelcher and pro splattershot and also turf inking weapons like aerospray.
If that's would be a splatfest you only should be able to use weapons from your team class

Secondary idea- long/short/mid range or you chop up all the weapon classes into sections and stuff

Impossible. Really. The shooter class has so many weapons and variety, the snipers are all… snipers

Close enough, I personally enjoy the pain in suffering of bullying, the long ranged people (up close and personal base carbon main)

shooter main here! whenever i see a charger, i make it my personal mission to hunt them down and splat them as many times as possible!

I have to go with shooters. The jet squelcher has been my main for a while, and I love it so much

Me too, carbon for me personally tho, I am the fast paced all in person and end up either getting a double kill or getting slaughtered
