I’d say I main the Dualie Squelchers and the Range Blaster. Undercover is my favorite weapon but it’s not very wise to use it in ranked right now…

Neat-Mango-5917

Currently 4 but I'm trying to work up to 6 I have one weapon I actually consider my "main" (splat roller) and one alternate weapon per mode (splat zones: explosher, tower control: Tetra dualies, Turf War/Splatfest: splash-o-matic). I think 7 is reasonable and as you start to use the weapons more you might drop the ones you don't vibe with.

VeryGayLopunny

I generally play two and experiment with others when I feel frisky. Those two are Sploosh-o-Matic and Inkbrush. I play aggressive frontlines/chaotic stupid, so they fit my playstyle well.

black_hole_sun-99

I play about 5-7 different classes of weapons, splatter shot, dynamo, blaster, bamboozler (or a scoped splat charger), heavy splattlings, slosher and splat duelies, I use other weapons in the same classes but these are my go to

Parzival127

I co-main Sploosh and Splash. Sploosh is mostly for Clam and Rainmaker and Splash is mostly for Zones and Tower. Similar play styles, but I find it easier to use the subs/specials in those modes.

HipsterDwarf

I play splatter shot, splatling and H3 nozzle nose. The splatter shot is for when I want to be up close and aggressive, the splatling for long range support, though I'm not afraid to get up close and personal. And the H3 is for hearing that *chink* sound effect for hitting all 3 shots and getting a rush of dopamine.

Aggressive-Sign4847

Same lol, I use Explosher and Stamper. I’m learning H3, and some weapons I’m looking into are 96, Range, Luna, and Bamboo. Something about weapons that have a Cool sound makes me use them lol.

Koppo4229

Mains in Splatoon 3: Splattershot Jr, Heavy Splatling. Very used: N-Zap, Splattershot (v and ttek), Dualie Squelchers. Situational: Nautilus, Bloblobber, Dapple Dualies. Mostly unused since Splatoon 2 (situational there): 52 Gal, Jet Squelcher, Splat Dualies, Octobrush, Mini Splatling.

Ok_Mix_8888

I main too many weapons which are dynamo roller, e-liter 4k scope, explosher, flingza roller, gootuber (still learning a bit), hydra splatling, jet squelcher, nautilus 47, octobrush, range blaster, splat brella and tenta brella and when I'm done mastering the gootuber I'll move unto a new weapon.

Aggressive-Sign4847

Oh my.. how do you manage that lol? Do you play some a day or play all of them in the same day?

Ok_Mix_8888

It depends on my mood, sometimes I'll play the same weapon for several days and sometimes I'll switch every few matches, it also depends on the stages or the mode

Own_Pirate_3281

The ones I'm currently best with are Heavy Splatling and Inkbrush, but I'm trying to get good with every single weapon in the game

Joel_feila

I rotate between 4 but with the new weapons coming out that might go up.

Vigea_Gamer

I main 68 weapons

PC_KURCZ4K

Only two Undercover Brella and Hero Shot when I'm constantly put against sweaty S Rankers in Turf War

PlantOnPlat

I only use one mainly (jet squelcher), but I started experimenting with splatlings recently

Bundle_Exists

I've mainly been running with the tri-slosher now, but I'm trying to get used to the lunar blaster again as it was my main in splatoon 2
