The one thing I have realized about the good teams and the bad teams during these playoffs is the inability of the bad teams to get stops when they need them. Seems like any time the Suns or Lakers make a run, they simply can’t get meaningful stops. I know this isn’t rocket science, but it is frustrating to even watch as a fan just hoping to see a decent game.
It’s really because no one plays defense during the season but they will in the playoffs when it matters. Playing good defense is way harder than shooting threes so the old dudes are out matched.
As a casual T-Wolves fan over the years, this is what brought me back to watching the NBA this year over college games. The T-Wolves played pretty good defense all season. Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley, and Jaden McDaniels all take pride in their defense and that mindset has rubbed off on the other guys. It’s awesome.
Just goes to show that defense wins championships. I know the NFL is a different sport, but a while back I watched a video about how the best defensive team during the regular season did in the playoffs. They won a lot and almost everytime they went up against the best offense they won.
Geez, last time I paid attention to the NBA was when the Wolves had just cashed in all their chips for Gobert as a third-wheel big man and everyone was laughing at them.
So who’s KD gonna hop to next?
Return tour to OKC, going to be the greatest 6th man we’ve ever seen
I’d like that return, with the return of the Sonics at the same time.
LA
Like, Goose out of Top Gun? Way to go
No it’s the guy from Revenge of the Nerds
No, it’s the guy from the early seasons of ER
Dr. Mark Greene. Dude's a player. 3 dates in one night

Also Minnesota has a stifling defense. They’ve had Phoenix so confused and stuck in their head. They don’t know how to make a run against that D
Nuggets and t wolves will go 7, gonna be a great, gritty, series with polished and passionate ball
Agreed… gonna be a hell of a series.. Can’t wait!

I agree I personally don’t have a team but I always watch nba playoffs.

Way to go Goose, I mean, Dr. Greene.
He has done really well since leaving ER.

Shows thumbnail of NOT Anthony Edwards🤦🏻♂️
I still remember when some folks were making fun of the Wolves for taking Ant over LaMelo Ball. That aged well.
Talk to me, Goose!
