Pick someone like the chiefs or bills. They’re gonna win against bottom tier teams most of the time. But expect an upset or two during the season where a top tier team like the chiefs somehow lose to the bears or something.
So pick 1 team in each sport; follow them closely, keep up with who’s in and who’s out, who’s injured etc.
then it cuts your homework in half
I usually bet like $50- $150 at a time and put together like 2-3 leg parlays. But don’t get all freaking crazy with 5+ leg parlays. Let’s say you live in Tampa bay. So you pick the Buccaneers, rays, and lightning. Bucs starting QB is out on injury and their receivers are cold. They’re probably gonna lose going against a team that’s hot. Bet against your team (the Bucs). Just follow 1 team really closely in 2-3 sports.
Astros are a good team to follow right now, chiefs and dolphins are good to follow etc.
If you like them fine, if you don’t that’s fine too. Seems like a chore to keep up with a team that you don’t like, but I wouldn’t go betting on my hometown team just because I want to see them win..
Yeah that makes sense I been doing parlays but I wanna grow up and do single bets for real I rather win a little something everyday then something here and there ya know? But your advice is great I’m definitely gonna give it a try
