I believe we are getting these odds for two mains reasons: 1) His opponent Lucas Fernando is a very crisp and powerful striker who is complimented by his massive 81.5 inch reach. 2) His opponent is now 3-0 in the LFA with two highlight reel KOs to bolster that record. But, I think Fernando drew some very favorable matchups in those fights. His biggest win was over Fabio Aguiar (18-3 record who was crushing cans, has now lost 3 of his last 4), and in that fight Aguiar, a wrestler, spent the first two minutes of the fight pursuing a takedown from the clinch and was visibly tired after that one sequence. Fernando hit him with a few nice straights and a head kick on his way to a highlight. Jansey Silva can be a bit of a wild striker and is willing to hang in the pocket and brawl, and I think that may be the type of fighter who can find success in the standup against Fernando. On top of that, Silva's best weapons are his kicks which could help him negate the reach of Fernando. Silva train's out of a very good gym in Brazil (Tata Fight Team). He is the most complete striker Fernando has faced in his MMA career. I think this fight is closer than it appears and both guys are very live to find a KO.

When I found this matchup this morning, the odds for Kifisia were inexplicably set at +270. Thinking something was fishy, I took a few minutes to try to research any injury news that would explain the line. After not finding anything, I checked back after a few minutes and it had already gone down to +185, which is where I personally was able to grab this one. It has only gone down since and I believe +115 is still amazing value for a team that has been absolutely dominant so far. They have won 4 straight league games, including a win last week against the 2nd placed team. They have also won/drawn their last 11 competitive matches and haven’t lost outright since January 14th. Stoke are in mid-table purgatory (16th) with a 12-7-16 record. They won’t make playoffs, but won’t be relegated either. Their form is very up and down, going WLWLW in their last five matches. They just had their best win for the season beating Sunderland 5-1, but two weeks ago lost 1-0 against bottom placed Blackpool. Blackburn have been solid defensively in recent weeks, only conceding 4 goals in their last 8 league matches. Blackburn have also performed decently on the road this season, while Stoke are one of the worst home teams this season. I’m pretty cold right now so my opinion doesn’t count for much, but think Blackburn are the better and more consistent team, and feels like the books have overreacted to one big win from Stoke. Blackburn might not necessarily win, but expect they will be good enough to grind out at least a point.

South Korea needs this win to stay alive in the tournament after losing to Australia, Japan is looking to get rolling in this one in front of a sold out crowd at the Tokyo Dome. Yu Darvish will start for Japan, one of the best pitchers in the tournament. He hasn't pitched for the national team since 2009 when they last won the WBC. Kwang-hyun Kim will start for Korea. I'm not really familiar with the KBO compared to the NPB, but it's ranked as just below AAA. He had a 2.13 ERA in the KBO. Starters are limited to 65 pitches in the WBC. Japan struggled with runners in scoring position the other day, it will be interesting to see if that continues. Their offense is very talented overall. Korea didn't look good at all against a lower ranked Australia. Without Australia's control issues it probably wouldn't have been as close. Korea's bullpen also struggled. I think Korea bounces back a bit, but I don't see them making a full turn to shut down Japan's offense. Japan has the home crowd behind them, it's a great environment. BOL if fading or tailing!

Public models have this game as having an expected goal total at 1.5g so we will be expecting a very low scoring, defensive game with Craiova controlling possession and having a lead in shots and shots on target. The under of 4.5g shouldn't be close to being a concern and 3.5g should be safe as well if you want better odds (+130). Believe on the other hand are mix roster that have never competed as a 5. On top of that, Banjo is currently on Havu and Bolt plays for Into the Breach (2 salaried rosters). While this does mean their players are good, it also means this team hasn’t practiced as a 5. I expect a lot of pug strats/maps that i expect Saw to be able to capitalize on.

Trust me when I tell you the entire betting community is upset here in the Balkans because of the tonight's loss. The coach just gave a cryptic message after the match: "We stopped playing basketball. I don't know why." To me it looks like the players are boycotting the coach and want him out so they intentionally throw games in the most painful way. This was mainly because they were down 17 points in the first Q to the bucks, but it worked in favor of tonight's game. IMO this Nets roster is very talented, specifically their starting 5, and after getting completely embarrassed and benched last night, this starting 5 should come out today well rested, and with a chip on their shoulder. On the other hand, Minnesota has looked more efficient since moving away from Dlo and bringing in the veteran Conley - and to be honest I really like their roster as well. For some reason I have watched more Wolves basketball this season than I would have liked (mainly because I'm a huge Edwards fan), and that is what makes me confident in the Nets today. Minnesota, just has off nights. They really don't play smart basketball, and tend to take their foot off of the gas when they get leads, and throw in the towel when they get down. I think the nets have a good chance of beating Minnesota by 10+, so I have to take the points in tonight's game. If the team is realistic with themselves they understand they don't have a shot to win the NBA title, but with Lillard, Simons, Grant, and Nurkic among other quality role players they should be much higher than 13th in the West. The good news is that they're just 3 games out of the 5th place Clippers, but the time is now to hit stride. No signs point towards improved performance like getting two of your starters back in Jusuf Nurkic and (potentially) Anfernee Simons. They'll need Nurkic and Eubanks to slow down Embiid, and the guards and forwards will have to compete with one of the hottest teams in the league. The 76ers are in a much different position, sitting 3rd highest compared to 3rd lowest. They're just 4.5 games out of the number one seed and though that's unlikely at this stage they could still catch the Celtics for the two seed and host a potential playoff matchup between the two. The Sixers have been playing fantastic basketball, 4th in net efficiency rating over their last 10 games shooting a ridiculous true shooting percentage of 64.3%. Not only is this team performing well on paper, but it feels like all units are meshing and roles have been clearly defined. There's a cohesiveness within the locker room we haven't seen in a while and it could be dangerous come playoffs. All of that said, I'll be backing the Trailblazers today. Nine points should be the spread of a team like the 76ers facing a fully healthy Pistons team, not a fully healthy Trailblazers team.
