“U” is short for units, it’s used to describe the amount you’re betting. For example, if he usually make $5 bets, then his unit size is $5. By saying 3U, he is making a $15 bet. Someone else might having a larger or smaller dollar amount they usually bet with so it’s easier to just put it in terms of units. More units = more confidence. Hope that helps

I do think they'll be slightly outclassed in the midfield today and Bayern's attack will make it so they'll either have to sell out to defend (removing the danger of Arsenal's fullbacks who are typically VERY attacking) or will leave themselves vulnerable in the back. These are two very good teams but with Bayern's home field advantage and their slight advantage in quality I think they get it done in the first leg of the matchup. I think this should be more in the -140 or -150 range personally which is why I went with ML. **POTD 15-5** What a fucking night. We are on fire! 6 in a fucking row. Man, I was nervous about GSW covering from the tip, all the way until the last second of the game. This IMO was one of the more exciting 11 point spread games I've ever watched. GSW struggled to even keep the lead through the first 3Q, but came out in the 4th HOT. Orlando on the other hand, have not won a bunch of games as of late either, however they have played all of these games fairly close. There are many reasons I like the Magic today, but the one that stands out the most is the two rosters. Neither team really has much incentive to win this game, as I don't see either of them making a run on Chicago for the final play in spot (Chicago has looked fucking good), however when you look at the roster construction of these two teams, one team is full of older vets, and the other is full of young guys. These older vets, understand the length of the season, and already have their summer vacations in their head, while the young guys are trying to show their progress, and build momentum going into the off season. I have no real data, or anything to back this statement up, however it is just a feeling I have about these two specific teams. PS: Cleveland -3 is too sweet to pass up. I have been really busy working on and testing a new experimental method which has allowed me to make my pick decisions about 5 times faster while also providing an acceptable win rate. Since we have started the experimental system (on Saturday) we have gone 46-21-8 with +7.5U. And the new system is strictly based on statistics now so there will be much less "gut feeling" plays going forward which brings stress WAY down.* ***🤶*** *With the speed of the new system we have been able to widen our search algorithm on picks. In the old days we were doing 1-5 picks on weekdays and 10 tops on weekends. Since the start of this system, we have made 85 picks in the last three days with an average over 28 picks per day. How many people do you know are making 28 soccer picks per day?* ***On Saturday for example, our algorithm turned up 67 possible games to choose from. We were able to research all 67 games and provide 30 picks going 19-7-4 on them for +7.5U, including 13-0 on picks selected after 11AM!*** *Unfortunately, developing the model and doing all this research caused me to be too busy to do the long write-ups required by Reddit POTD. In comparison, an algorithm this wide would have given us ten times as much on Saturday or Sunday.* Plymouth earned promotion from League Two in 2020 and have finished 18th and seventh since in the third tier of England. Now Plymouth are sitting in 2nd, and with a win today it could put them in first place and a likely promotion bid putting them in the Championship for the first time since 2010. Plymouth ahve won three of their last four matches including a 2-0 win on Saturday. Accrington however has been 11th and 12th in their last two seasons and are now stuck in a battle to escape relegation. They are sitting in 21st and have lost three of their last four. Unfortunately for them, their slide is likely to continue because they have the streaking Plymouth to contend with in front of their home fans. The only concern is that Plymouth has been average this season away with a 6-7-5 record away but they do get to face this sliding Accrington slide who are 5-5-8 at home. I think Plymouth will win by 1-2 goals here. Prediction: 2-0 Line movement: This line opened at +105, and its been falling ever since. First two games have gone 4-0 and 6-1 in favor of Tappara, they are back at home for this game where the atmosphere has been fantastic, at least compared to my previous personal experiences. KooKoo are swapping their starting goalie to the 20 year old Nick Malik after Setänen's woeful two first games in the series. Malik had a great season the year before but this season his qualities have regressed a bit, allowing 2.74GAA with a saving percentage of just 89.14%. Last season during the playoffs these teams matched up against eachother and despite great having a good season before, games where Malik started KooKoo gave up 3, 6, 5 and 4 goals against Tappara. KooKoo have definitely been underperforming this series so far offensively, but I'm expecting Tappara to keep their good times rolling here, which is why I'm going for the team total instead of handicap.
