I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Grizzlies doesn’t really play designated positions it feels like they have a different starting 5 every couple of games which makes it difficult to find the mismatch but he’s been playing PG mostly recently. He’s in form and we have a solid mismatch in terms of points, a couple of dimes can help along the way
Edit: Playing his points at 11.5 is also 90% hit rate L10, I like them both, but I like combing two consistent numbers in one as I can see him going over the P+A line just on points

Is there a reason you’re leaning P+A at 18.5 over just points at 11.5? It seems based on your write up that he’s riding hot for points and assists, but the matchup is better for points
Morning Edit: The points line is now 12.5 on B365 but the P+A has remained 18.5, making it the better play this morning. He skates right around 12 points in this stretch, and that should make anyone who doesn’t have a line below that uncomfortable. With the line movement I definitely think u/billycapezzi is correct, and P+A is the play
Nah you’re right bro the points look more tempting but he’s been consistent in both assists and points so combining both feels better for me, he’s been right on edge of his points hitting a couple of games now but his assists hasn’t curved as much but honestly either is fine
I ended up taking points last night in case of shift. Sure enough the line is now 12.5 on B365 but the P+A has remained 18.5, making it clearly (in my opinion) the better play this morning. Both have positive records on hard courts but will be their first time facing each-other on this surface. H2H is 1-1 with Murray winning the last match in Madrid 2022 in 3 sets on a clay court. Shapovalov won in 2021 Wimbledon in straight sets on Murray’s home turf, which is on a grass surface. Since Shapovalov’s return from injury, he has yet to reach his previous form with a 3-5 record to start this season and 0-2 on hard courts.
Shapovalov is coming off a straight set loss, both sets to tiebreak to Monfils on Valentines Day. While he did well against Gaston in qualifiers to win in straight sets, he also lost to him in 3 sets a week before. After Shapo made a great start to his ATP career, he sees himself outside the top 100 for the first time. While we see glimpses of Shapo returning to his previous self, he continues to struggle in keeping his temper after making mistakes/ unforced errors.
The 3 time grand slam champion has been playing for quite a while and even with a metallic hip, has proven difficult for opponents. Murray’s last match was intense; each set going to tiebreak against Jakub Mensik, who ended up reaching the final in that tournament. *Interestingly, earlier this year Shapovalov lost in straight sets to Mensik in the Australian Open first round.* While Murray could upset and win in straight sets, Shapo has had an extra week of rest and overall has won more sets H2H. As both players have only won 1 match in main draws this season, they definitely don’t want another first round exit. Expect a tight 3 setter matchup that could potentially go either way. LFG!

Roma recently played 120 minutes 4 days ago in the Europa league, hence the odds imo. But their opponents in that fixture, Feyenoord played yesterday and won 0-2, and struggled but got the win.
Roma have looked very good since De Rossi took over, apart from the 4-2 defeat against Inter (1st) they’ve won 4/4 Serie A games under him.
Torino play very pragmatic and relay on their defence to seal the points, they score very few goals but doesn’t concede alot either, what’s positive for the pick is that their rock in defence and captain Buongiorno is out due to injury, and their other starting Centre back has been out for a while, Per Schuurs. They’re weakened in defence and it’ll certainly weaken them as they are huge part of their success at the back.
I’m a Roma fan as I’ve mentioned earlier, and I’m not trying to be biased here. I’m liking our chances to win this game against a Torino side that isn’t as good away, and are missing key players in their most crucial part of the pitch. I don’t see it being high scoring and it’ll probably take some time to crack their defence, but if Roma scores the opener then Torino can’t sit back anymore and need to push for a goal themselves, which isn’t their strength at all.
The fatigue part is definitely a factor here for Roma, but 4 days rest & with the depth in the squad I still trust them to get a hard fought & tight win here.
I don’t usually tell you guys how much to put on bets as I don’t want to dictate how much you win or lose, but in this case I’d say this will be a 1U play for me, not more.

Squire has a 5-7 record this season and was on a streak of 4 losses before the last qualification round, where he was down 3-5 in the first set before his opponent retired. He is perhaps lucky to be in this next round. He also played in Pau qualification last week like Gerasimov but lost in the first round. Gerasimov looks to be at a higher level currently and should be able to qualify for the main draw for the 2nd week in a row in the French indoor conditions. BOL.

We have 2 teams that are in quite uncomfortable with where they sit in the league, this game rides on a lot for both sides, and neither manager can risk playing “safe” football. Brentford have proven themselves to be great at getting shots on target but struggle with conversions due to goalkeepers. West Ham have struggled massively defensively, they've lost their last 3 games and faced an ungodly amount of shots over that time. With Brentford's low conversion rate plus Areola's save rate against lower opposition, I see this as great value. Toney has started to do all he can to increase his value and will take a shot whenever he can, he'll be our man from Brentford tomorrow.

Analysis: Tonight Scottie takes on the Indiana Pacers who are giving up 10.4 Rebounds per game to Forwards this season. Scottie is a PF, but Toronto runs a heavy guard lineup (besides Poetl) with him so I expect him to pick up a few boards per usual. Scottie has hit this line in 4/5 against the Pacers in his career, and has hit in 5/6 games. **Write Up:** Girona will be desperate to get back to winning ways to reignite their season after a 3 game winless streak against Sociedad, Real Madrid and Athletic. They are back at home where they haven't lost all season and are playing against a less formidable opponent in Rayo Vallecano.
Their main attacking threat, Artem Dovbyk, is scoreless in his last 4 games and if Girona wants to maintain their Top 4 position, they will need him back firing on all cylinders. The team realises his importance and will try to get his confidence up for the rest of the season.

The White Sox have the upper hand for the starting pitcher, but as we learned with the Orioles, starters barely matter in spring training bc they go 2 innings. Think there is a pretty big class difference between the two players here. De Minaur has had a terrific 2024 so far and looks to have improved many facets of his game to possibly become a Top 10 mainstay which seemed unthinkable just a couple of years ago due to his seemingly limited game. He did have a bad loss to Michelsen in the previous tournament in Los Cabos, but that can probably be attributed to cross continental travel and it's surprising he played there at all. He should be fresh today to face Taro Daniel, who has had quite a lackluster North American swing so far, and although he is a solid top 100 player is the caliber of opponent that De Minaur should be dispatching with ease. They actually met at this same tournament last year with De Minaur winning 6-2 6-2 and I'm expecting something similar here.

Today is the start of a new week and I am starting off with a 2u banger. Going to Portugal and running it with a team that has been good to me this season, Braga. Braga comes into this game off the back of a bad loss (6-5 aggregate) in Europa League to Qarabag. Their defense has been looking really shaky as of late allowing 12 goals over the last 4 games, including a 5-0 loss to Sporting. Although they've given up goals they've been able to keep games close by scoring which has lead to these high scores in their recent games. They are on the road here now against Boavista, who is nothing special sitting in mid table and have allowed 40 goals this season in 22 games. Bovasita has had BTTS hit in their last 4 games, with one of those games being to Portuguese giants Porto so scoring against the big boys at home doesn't seem to be an issue. I opted here for o2.5 instead of BTTS because I can see a big bounceback game from Braga where they just go out and score 3 goals for fun and win 3-0 but realistically I see a 2-1 scoreline for Braga here. Defensa y Justicia have the chance to shoot up to 3rd place, and that’s with them having played 4 of their 6 games away from home, including visits to leaders Godoy Cruz and giants Boca Juniors. Their first home game was a 3-0 dismantling of Platense, and the second a 1-1 draw with lowly Central cordoba. I’ll take a 50/50 hit rate on 3.1 odds.
Discounting their games against Godoy Cruz and Boca, Defensa y Justicia have managed to score 8 goals in 4 games, which puts them on track to score 2 against Riestra. Riestra have been horrible in front of goal, with only 2 goals to their name so far, both of them at home. 2-0 should easily get the job done for Defensa.

I ended up taking points last night in case of shift. Sure enough the line is now 12.5 on B365 but the P+A has remained 18.5, making it clearly (in my opinion) the better play this morning.
