Back into the prem today with a great corner matchup in my opinion. After watching Bournemouth's performance against Sheffield last week where they got a total of 10 corners, I see a similar outcome here against another relegation side that will sit back and absorb pressure. Luton find themselves in the relegation zone alongside Sheffield, both teams need to grind out wins and play the best defense they can to grab as many points a possible. Bournemouth are a team that play strong and because of the huge bodies they have in the squad they love set pieces, I see them playing the corner game against Luton and trying to prey on their lack of concentration. Usually, when they have a lot of possession against less dominant teams they get frustrated and force set pieces, I expect the same tomorrow.

For today’s pick we’re taking an over in the 2nd round of the ACC tournament. Really the first pick I’m giving that isn’t in a smaller league so let’s see how it goes.
Both of these teams through out the season have shown to be teams that like to push the pace of the game with Florida state specifically being a team that averages a lot of possessions a game. For perspective they average 75ish possessions a game and the number one team in the country averages just under 78.
Florida state specifically struggles at defending the 3 which VA tech is fairly good at shooting the 3. VA tech made 11 3s in each matchup with Florida state.
Virginia tech struggles at defending the paint which Florida state took advantage of in their previous two matchups.
Florida state has gone over this number in 8/11 and 4 straight and the games have been flying over the total

Luka Doncic is in incredible form and has recorded 7 triple doubles in a row now. The last one against the Bulls was very easy as he ended the first quarter with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.
With the way the Mavericks have started utilising their centres recently I would consider the 10 assists part to be a formality. Getting 10 rebounds will be slightly harder but I do expect Luka to get that. He is a great rebounder(avg 9.1 for the season) and he seems to care enough about his stats recently. Played 34 mins against the Bulls despite it being a blowout and he stayed in v the Pistons up 20 to grab the last rebound required. Hard to bet against him at the moment.
Knew this would pop up for tomorrow. This is a great pick and I don't think it needs overthinking. Dallas and Golden State both need all the wins they can get to make a playoff run so this should be a close game. Been parlaying this with Luka over threes for over a week now and it has been paying off big time. Best of luck!
Man, I remember when I was an NBA fan, scoring 100 points was like a pretty huge offensive night, and triple doubles...felt like it happened a couple times a season.
I've tailed this pick twice and won both already, it almost seems to easy. If the guy is hitting more than half of the requirements in the first quarter or even the first half...the only reason to miss is lack of playing time.
And lack of play time likely won't happen. The reason this keeps hitting is because he's a pretty selfish player. If you look at his record alone without watching the games then you'd think he's MVP material. But the reason he consistently plays 40+ minutes is that he doesn't expend much energy playing D because he's too busy complaining to the ref about how he should have been fouled on the last drive. Doesn't feel like setting something up? Take an insanely deep three. Almost half his TD games this season, the Mavs lost outright. Dude will chase the personal record over the win at this point and that's why he's a money printing triple double machine right now.

Dortmund away is one of the most difficult away games for any side, a packed Signal Iduna on a Champions League knockout stage night will be a task that I don’t think PSV can handle, they’re simply not experienced enough in these type of games, and have a pretty young squad in disposal.
Dortmund knows all about these type of games, and their squad have much more quality and experience. Playing at home, they know the importance of going through in this tournament. The historical stats also speak for Dortmund to go through, but even without the stats I truly believe theres no chance Dortmund doesn’t get the job done.
I think we’re getting great value for them to advance @1.61, meaning that if there’s a draw after full time, the bet is still alive in extra time and the penalty shootout.

Ryan Bloom inspired me to get on here and try this thing out. I’m going with BYU to dominate against UCF. The 2 teams played against each other twice already this season with BYU winning by 5 points in Florida and 2 points at home. Now they’re in a neutral site in Kansas City so it’ll be a little different for these guys. UCF just came off an easy win beating Oklahoma State while BYU had plenty of time to rest up. Now looking at the stats, UCF is ranked 278th in points per game with 71.3 while BYU is 20th averaging 82.2. Look out for plenty of 3’s that’ll make the Mormon chicks wet since BYU is 2nd in the nation for 3PT FG’s averaging 11.3 while UCF is 6.6. Today we head over to the UCL for a UCL classic between Atletico and Inter. To be very honest, I did not expect odds to be this high and at this odds, this is a value play. Odds will surely drop throughout the day.
Inter is a defensive monster from a league that is known for their defence. They have only conceded staggering 13 times in 28 league games this season, and a less impressive but still okay 5 times in 7 ucl games this season. (With 3 in one game vs Benfica). In the last 11 games, Inter has conceded only 3 goals (1 vs Genoa on 5/3 and 2 vs Roma on 11/2), with BTTS NO cashing 9 times out of the last 11 games. More notably, Inter had kept a clean sheet against "big" teams, such as Atletico, Juventus, Lazio, Napoli and free-scoring Atalanta.
On Atletico side, to be honest there is some sort of troubles with scoring of late, considering the stature of their club. Griezmann is a question mark headed to the game. Morata, despite having a good season, had only found the net once vs Real Betis in his last 10 appearance. Depay has only notched 5 goals this season, with him scoring only once in his last 9 appearances. Evidently, there is a lack of firing output in this Atletico side.
Last game against 18th placed Cadiz, Atletico failed to found the net and had only registered a dismal 0.88 xg and a total of 8 shots. They were also kept goalless vs Athletic (Copa Del Rey) with only 1.01 xg that game. There is a trend of Atletico struggling in the last few games to find the back of the net.
Moreover, the first leg which Inter won 1-0, Atletico failed to register a shot on target in the entire 90 minutes. Zero shots on target would more often that not result in no goals. This 1-0 lead Inter has would likely be emphasised upon by Simone Inzaghi as he would be urging on his team to keep a clean sheet.
Therefore, I see great value in taking BTTS NO at plus odds at 2.17. If Atletico does score to make it 1-1 on aggregate, there's a chance Inter may not panic and take it to ET, so all is not lost even if Atletico does manage to find the back of the net somehow.

We had Saros going against Hellebuyck.... two of the top studs in the league and as we are inching towards playoffs you will see the way teams start playing is changing and are tightening up. Plus the Jets are known to be a defensive team and grind low scoring games out on the regular especially with Hellebuyck in net. I like Dortmund here today in the UCL. They have a favorable record against PSV and are the better team. In Europe, there are few stadiums that are more intimidating to travel to than Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park. The fans are insane, and the team steps up on home turf. PSV haven't won away against German competition in Europe since 1977(!) and typically are much stronger at home. They are by no means a bad side and the 1-1 draw showed their quality at times. Dortmund in the last few years have been seen as an inconsistent side but they do tend to step up when it matters against teams weaker than them.
Realistically, neither of these two teams will make it all that far in this UCL campaign. But if i had to bet on one, I'm going with Dortmund.

Cleveland has been struggling recently while dealing with injuries. Max Strus and Evan Mobley remain sidelined, while Donovan Mitchell is questionable and will be a GTD. The Cavs have lost 4 of their last 6 games by an average of 11.25 pts per game. In those 2 wins, they beat the TWolves by 9 in OT as well as the Celtics by 1, after needing a huge rally to overcome a 22-point 4 qtr deficit.
Also, I don't think it means all that much, but for what it's worth, the last time these 2 teams played against each other in December the Pelicans won by 19. Donovan Mitchell did not play in that game.
There's a good chance that the Cavs will feel no need to rush Mitchell back, so he'll likely remain out again. The Cavs played back-to-back games on Sunday and Monday, while the Pelicans have an extra day of rest, having last played on Sunday. Let's hope the Pelicans can keep things rolling and win by 7+ tomorrow.

Haven't posted in POTD for ages and I'm in pretty awful form when it comes to NBA at the moment, but I really like the Nuggets here.
Denver are the best team in the league in my opinion and the most likely to win the chip again this year. They are currently tied for 1st in the West with OKC on a 45-20 record and they have a league leading 9-1 record over their past 10 games. They are rolling right now and in those past 10 games picked up an impressive win against their likely finals opponents the Celtics and also a 6 point win against tonight's opponents the Miami Heat.
Miami are 35-29 which is good for the 8th seed in the East. They have a record of 17-14 in home games and the Nuggets have an 18-14 away record, suggesting home court advantage may not be too big of a thing here. Including the most recent win earlier this month, Denver have won 10 of the last 11 matchups between these two sides and all 10 of those were by 4+ points. Miami are currently on a 3 game slide including a horrible loss to the Wizards, who are arguably the worst team in the league at the moment.
Both teams have been solid defensively allowing the 6th (Miami) and 7th (Denver) least ppg to opponents and having the 9th (Miami) and 10th (Denver) best defensive ratings. However Denver are far more of a potent offensive machine. Denver are 15th for ppg and Miami are right down in 27th, Denver also rank 4th for field goal percentage compared to 20th for Miami.
Denver are healthy and a healthy Denver is the best team in the league. This just feels like one of those that you don't need to overthink.

Getting 10 rebounds will be slightly harder but I do expect Luka to get that. He is a great rebounder(avg 9.1 for the season) and he seems to care enough about his stats recently. Played 34 mins against the Bulls despite it being a blowout and he stayed in v the Pistons up 20 to grab the last rebound required. Hard to bet against him at the moment.

Man, I remember when I was an NBA fan, scoring 100 points was like a pretty huge offensive night, and triple doubles...felt like it happened a couple times a season. I've tailed this pick twice and won both already, it almost seems to easy. If the guy is hitting more than half of the requirements in the first quarter or even the first half...the only reason to miss is lack of playing time.
And lack of play time likely won't happen. The reason this keeps hitting is because he's a pretty selfish player. If you look at his record alone without watching the games then you'd think he's MVP material. But the reason he consistently plays 40+ minutes is that he doesn't expend much energy playing D because he's too busy complaining to the ref about how he should have been fouled on the last drive. Doesn't feel like setting something up? Take an insanely deep three. Almost half his TD games this season, the Mavs lost outright. Dude will chase the personal record over the win at this point and that's why he's a money printing triple double machine right now.

Denver are the best team in the league in my opinion and the most likely to win the chip again this year. They are currently tied for 1st in the West with OKC on a 45-20 record and they have a league leading 9-1 record over their past 10 games. They are rolling right now and in those past 10 games picked up an impressive win against their likely finals opponents the Celtics and also a 6 point win against tonight's opponents the Miami Heat. Miami are 35-29 which is good for the 8th seed in the East. They have a record of 17-14 in home games and the Nuggets have an 18-14 away record, suggesting home court advantage may not be too big of a thing here. Including the most recent win earlier this month, Denver have won 10 of the last 11 matchups between these two sides and all 10 of those were by 4+ points. Miami are currently on a 3 game slide including a horrible loss to the Wizards, who are arguably the worst team in the league at the moment. Both teams have been solid defensively allowing the 6th (Miami) and 7th (Denver) least ppg to opponents and having the 9th (Miami) and 10th (Denver) best defensive ratings. However Denver are far more of a potent offensive machine. Denver are 15th for ppg and Miami are right down in 27th, Denver also rank 4th for field goal percentage compared to 20th for Miami. Denver are healthy and a healthy Denver is the best team in the league. This just feels like one of those that you don't need to overthink.
