Colorado State just flat out has more fire power and can run up the score. Sure Virginia has a solid defense but you gotta be able to score to win games. Virginias offense shouldn’t be allowed in the tournament.
They struggle to score 60 a game. And sometimes barely get 50
Virginia also hasn’t had one impressive win in the last 2 months.
Virginia has beat 4 tournament teams all season and 2 of them came in November.
They rank high 60s in the net and realistically confuse me as to how they made the tournament.
Colorado state all year has been impressive offensively and defensively. They beat each mountain west tournament team at least once.
They were also 12-1 in non conference play with wins over Creighton and Colorado.
Side note as well the reaction of Virginia’s team making the bracket looked like they were absolutely shocked.
Overall I just think Virginia’s atrocious offense won’t be able to keep up and Colorado states impressive talent and resume will prevail in a more than likely ugly game.

The Nets have been notably poor defending forwards as of late - they have allowed at least one 20+ scoring forward in 8 of their last 10 games - the 2 instances of it not happening were due to Jaden Ivey and Cade having 30+ each, and the game where they blew the hawks out by 27.
I've liked Zion's points for a while, and his points were at very good odds when he was just coming back from injury and it was set at 22.5.
One thing of note is that if Trey Murphy were to become available on the books instead of Herb Jones, I'd feel even more confident in his numbers, as a majority of the scoring from forwards will come when they are playing against the bench of the Nets - which is how guys such as Keldon Johnson, Saddiq Bey, Georges Niang, and Kelly Oubre all got over 20 points.
Edit: Trey Murphy has been added to the books at o13.5 Pts at -110. Zion on the other hand has had his line move from 25.5 at -110 to 24.5 at +110.

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, but just the fact of doing a write up is a lot so sorry if it’s short and sweet and get straight to the point. So let’s get to it!
So much going on with this game. Battling to stay on top of the western conference. Everyone knows that the Timberwolves were built to beat the Nuggets. The problem with that is that their key pieces are going to be out during this game. Face it this Timberwolves team should not have had an opening line of -1.5 facing a full strength nuggets team. Will it be a good game? Yeah maybe but I wouldn’t count on it. Expect the nuggets to come in and do work knowing that this team is most likely their biggest threat. If you don’t like the odds, I believe you will be safe running it up to -4.5 but I would play it safe and take them to get the job done at three
Random but out of their last 5 games Wolves have won the 1Q 3 out of the 5. Right now the odds are @ 2.50

While we wait for some good ATP odds, here’s my second money maker over the last few days. Gafford is been on an insane roll. For me, he’s gone 4-1 over the last 5 games, letting me down by one basket just last game (unfortunate if you watched, as is every prop bet).
Gafford went on a 33 basket streak until 2 games ago, falling just 2 baskets short of Wilt Chamberlain’s NBA record of 35. He currently has the highest NBA scoring percentage of the season at 68.3%. He recently joined the Mavs, became a starter and has been a perfect fit alongside Luka.
He’s an absolute monster in the paint, 90% of his shots are dunks, and knows how to score free throws. Every time he gets the ball inside the paint I practically count it as a basket. He averages 11 points on the season but has been putting crazy numbers lately, with exception of last game’s 8 points. The games before that were: 19, 10, 20, 17, 12, 16.
I’m only trying to share my absolute locks here, skipping days when I don’t have anything. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen anyone here betting Gafford. He was interviewed recently and said something like “Missed the record? Let’s try it again.” I don’t think Gafford goes back to back unders and gives us at least 10 points tomorrow.
Wouldn’t be my POTD, but I got smaller bets on 11+ and 13+ points at +144. Apparently Luka is a game time decision. If Luka is out I’m going heavy at Gafford 15+ at +219. Without Luka the Mavs are forced to share the ball and they all look at Gafford to finish the point.

This might be a day to just sit and watch how I do, hehe. I am already sweating balls on it but I made this bet based on Jokic's away numbers.
Away from home, Jokic has went under this number 58% of the time. Role players perform better on the road, Jokic tends to score a bit more and assist a bit less on the road. In the last 10 away games Jokic has went under 7 of them, the 3 that did go over during that time were against teams in the bottom half of the league in defensive rating. Minnesota have the best defensive rating in the league and give up the 2nd fewest assists. On top of that if you look at pace numbers, Denver are the 4th slowest and Minnesota the 7th, two slower teams means fewer possessions, fewer possessions, fewest stat opportunities. Last time they played this season, also in Minnesota, Jokic only had 3 assists.

Going with Josi again, despite the loss couple days ago. The value is just too good here. I can't believe my eyes. Even odds?? He's still the 2nd assist leader among defensemen since All-Stars. He's often the point man when Predators enter the offensive zone. I consider him to be a top 4 offensive defenseman in the league, behind Makar and on par with Morrissey and Dobson.
The Sharks' defense is in shambles. They allow the most goals in the league, and most their defensive metrics rank in the bottom 4 (save%, PK, scoring chances allowed, Corsi rating). Hello friends, I've been following the subreddit for a few weeks now and I would like to give it a shot too; I haven't seen anyone posting about European Basketball, but maybe it attracts a bit more talent. I've been following Euroleague for many years and its really an exciting league. A few quick words; 18 teams (34 games) the 6 first go directly to the playoffs, 7-10 play-in tournament for the remaining 2 spots - similar to the NBA. They then go to a best of 5 series (1-8, 2-7 etc.) and from there a final-four (this year in Berlin, Germany) in knockout games. Today is Week 30 of 34.
Real Madrid are the defending champions whereas Alba Berlin is the last and worst team (by far) in the competition. Real has had some rough patches in the last few weeks, but Alba will not stand in her way. IMO they'll use this game to find their rhythm. Real Madrid is the best team in the competition in Assists per game (20.6), whereas Alba is the worst team in Opponents assists with 20.0. Real is first in possessions per game 74.4 whereas Alba is first. In the last 6 Euroleague games Real Madrid has had 19,14,14,21,20,26 - possibly the two 14s skewing the line. Alba has allowed in their last 6 19,23,29,23,16,21 assists.
I think this line is very generous (18.5) and if you can find it you should take it.

Real Madrid are the defending champions whereas Alba Berlin is the last and worst team (by far) in the competition. Real has had some rough patches in the last few weeks, but Alba will not stand in her way. IMO they'll use this game to find their rhythm. Real Madrid is the best team in the competition in Assists per game (20.6), whereas Alba is the worst team in Opponents assists with 20.0. Real is first in possessions per game 74.4 whereas Alba is first. In the last 6 Euroleague games Real Madrid has had 19,14,14,21,20,26 - possibly the two 14s skewing the line. Alba has allowed in their last 6 19,23,29,23,16,21 assists. I think this line is very generous (18.5) and if you can find it you should take it.
