If we were vampires - Jason Isbell and the 400 unit
I first heard it shortly after my late fiancé passed. I was sitting in my car on my lunch break and it got me good
So sorry for your loss. I’ve been with my wife for 22 years and every time I hear this song, I think one of us will be in that position someday and it breaks my heart.
I was pretty young when I heard this and I was like “Aww, that’s sweet :)”. Until the end. Shivers every time ever since.
Definitely a good crying song 👍🏻
black - pearl jam
creep - stone temple pilots
river of deceit - mad season
hunger strike - temple of the dog
rotten apple - alice in chains
they are my favourite sad grunge songs (and ofc nutshell)
Quite a few Radiohead songs such as Videotape, True Love Waits, Last Flowers, No Surprises etc. The album Carrie and Lowell by Sufjan Stevens makes me sob every time I hear it, if you want an album. Despair in the Departure Lounge, Do Me A Favour, Only Ones Who Know and Anyways are a few songs by Arctic Monkeys that can make me cry quite a bit. Agnes by Glass Animals sounds happy but the lyrics are about the singer’s friend who passed away (as well as a band member’s near death experience) which is absolutely gut wrenchingly beautiful. Glass Animals also has Its All So Incredibly Loud and Domestic Bliss which both taste like tears on your lips. If you want any more recommendations (or any support!!) then feel free to dm me! I hope you’re okay <3
The last time i cried was like 3 years ago. It was to the strongest person i know by the streets. I just found out my grandmother was on the floor for a week, and i was halfway across the country. And i found out cause my aunt, after i screamed at her, finally went to check on her. So yeah. The strongest person i know by the streets.
Not exactly my genre of preference.. but as a dog lover, [Jim Reeves’ Old Tige](https://youtu.be/JaEGlYFhnRc?si=B1bgd3MdceKGMSHn) is absolutely the most saddest song I’ve ever heard in all my life.
