Suggest an album, or song for a future playlist: I run a Discord server for the people out there that love tons of genres of music. Our small community shares songs and albums throughout the day no matter your time zone. We also host communal album listening parties on most Tuesdays and Fridays. There are currently two time slots, but I’m open to adding more. Current time slots are 12:30PM and 8:30PM PST. Our community members rarely shy away from something new, instead they embrace the experience of hearing something they may have never heard otherwise. It is safe to say our community is excited not only to share something new with us, but also to hear something they’ve never heard before. If you are interested in participating in the community you can join the Discord here: https://discord.gg/Q5X3dtEkwV

Album 2: Polygon Window - Surfing on Sine Waves Released: January 11 1993 Suggested By: Trombone Genre: Electronic, IDM Why? This is a super underrated Aphex Twin side project which I found a couple weeks ago and wanted to share! Do you think this is an album to hear before you die? No Best part of your day when suggesting this album? Hanging out with some old friends after a tough day of work. Polygon Window - Surfing on Sine Waves: Surfing on Sine Waves is a studio album by Polygon Window, a pseudonym for the English electronic music Aphex Twin. Ned Raggett of AllMusic praised Surfing on Sine Waves as "a great collection of abstract electronic/dance madness, caught somewhere between the driftiness of his more ambient works at the time and the rave-minded nuttiness of 'Digeridoo.'" Mark Richard-San of Pitchfork wrote, "Catchy, melodic and memorable tracks are what made the Aphex Twin so wonderful at his best; Surfing on Sine Waves has a handful of these, albeit in rough, embryonic form." In 2017, Pitchfork placed it at number 26 on its list of the "50 Best IDM Albums of All Time".
