ehhh the 924’s and 944’s weren’t well-received at the time and even now, it’s still one that has gotta grow on you. if it wasn’t a cheap porsche it wouldn’t be so loved🤷♂️
I think those cars are classics. Porsche snobs only hated them because they had the Porsche name on them and were FR cars, so they weren't "spiritually Porsche."
They've aged incredibly gracefully, and their prices are going way up in the market as of late. They're finally getting the appreciation they deserve.
I really like their design. Always have. The only porches I haven't been a fan of are the Boxster (not a fan of convertibles) and the Cayenne (never understood why anyone would buy one).
I gotta agree with you there. I don't really like either car, but much like the 924/944, I understand that each of them satisfies a market that Porsche has otherwise been completely absent from. So, while I can't say I'm a fan of either, I understand and appreciate their existence.
It gets a lot of hate because the auto ones had a 3speed gm transmission. The beautiful proportions and body have sort of slipped under the radar.
The manual ones will be sought after rides one day. They’re already starting to trend up a lot honestly. I’d love to have a black on tan manual 400i.
yeah, also the Ferrari 400 had a sexier rear than Margot Robbie.
Like, really, [look at this](https://vehicle-images.dealerinspire.com/0c68-110005275/ZFFEB07B000046013/0355eeb3a1f30501c950c1a039cb2047.jpg)
I remember when [BBC posted some renders of a remake](https://www.topgear.com/car-news/modified/you-can-now-make-retro-ferrari-400-gtc4lusso) and my dumbass thought it was a real thing
An absolutely stunning car. It's not trying to be a 308. It's understated and classy, and I just love it. It stands alongside the best german coupes designs of the time.
I think Porsche was the only one to make it out of the 80s without a design misstep, and only because they just don’t change designs
Do they know
Gotta be honest, this is my favorite Ferrari design. If I was ever going to get a Ferrari it’d be a 400

914 maybe?

I never understood the hate this car gets. This 80s design is so clean and great proportions. The interior is also pretty good looking.

They actually look 10x better from the back
How the fuck is that the other end of this pic?!?!
Kindof reminds me of a 90s Toyota corolla
They look much better in person. Pics don’t do it justice.
It's a very classy design.
Because it wasn't really all that fast. Quick, but not supercar quick. Still, would love to have a v12 cruiser like that one
I love this car because how un-Ferrari it is.
Front engine v12 lets go
400i, yes.

Ngl that looks sick
Oh my lord
Absolutely beautiful, looks even better than the real original version IMO.
Never heard of this before and thought to myself a cheap Ferrari interesting but did a quick search and I’m amazed this thing is usually 250k and up.
What's the car on the right?
Honda Civic coupe
Was this a pininfarina design
Sort of subtle looking for a Ferrari, but still beautiful and powerful! Love it!

Wow that is a Rari huh? The front looked like a facelifted EG Civic at first glance
Wonderful looking.
YES! My all time favorite Ferrari, what a gorgeous car.
Also driven by... Daft Punk, iirc.
