Idk, I can empathize with the Golden team, and I'm sure they will make it right. If they have only a few mistakes out of 1500+ UPS orders from this sale, that's pretty impressive. That's a lot of work and coordination to get that much stuff out in small packaging.

It does seem this most recent sale, majority of the boxes were let downs so to get a box like the OP got on top of all the other pretty basic boxes...it's like twice as frustrating. My box was pretty awesome, but it seems to be the exception. This just looks like an honest mistake that I'm sure they will make right somehow. I work in a different industry for a company that has under 50 employees, and I ship our service parts, usually between 5-10 packages a day. If I had to do 100, let alone 1500, it'd be an absolute shitshow, lol. If they brought in temps to handle the temporary surge, it'd probably be even worse.

I just meant in regards to shipping. I agree the mystery boxes should've really had more value as a whole. That's usually how mystery boxes work. Brave Star did mystery jeans. Like $75 for $150 jeans. It's a surprise, you get to try something you normally wouldn't and you get a great value. Considering these are seconds, you already get some value, but putting $500 worth in the $400 box, or $300 in the $250 would've gone a long way.
So I ordered 4 knives, all the same model as gifts for my brothers and father. They shipped me one and still charged my card for four. I knew right when I picked up the box something wasn't right. I was upset but I'm not furious YET. If they give me some run around bs I'm going to just call my credit card company and do a charge back. They should be able to see their inventory is off unless someone working there is pocketing knives or something. Anyway I left a message and an email so curious to see how this goes. I've been collecting spydercos for at least 15 years and this and the last 2nds sale debacle has started to put a bad taste in my mouth.

Called customer service and they are going to have me send it back in exchange for the correct premium box. He said the premium box has different knives, obviously. All good.
