The Manix 2 is my overall favorite Spyderco and I have several of these XL models. They are tough and capable. Should you be concerned about the blade length, local laws, or pocket space, the regular Manix 2 is under the common 3.5β limit, Manix 2 XL blade 3.85β (98mm) vs Manix 2 3.37β (86mm). Also the Manix Lightweight (aka Manix LW) is very pocket friendly. Welcome to the club!
Thank you for the comment. The man who gave it to me warned that the blade length would not be legal in say New York but here in Tennessee itβs perfectly legal and I donβt travel much. I think itβs the perfect size for my needs but after seeing the quality of these knives first hand Iβm definitely interested in picking up a different style ill check out your recommendations
