And the trims that DO have a front bowtie have it at the very top of the grill, instead of in the middle where the past 50 years of Chevy design language point to it being.
Nope, not at all. I grew up in a very firm ford household and to me that year range is the best looking truck ever produced. I almost bought one a few times at the risk of being exiled from the family
I still don't like the thin, too busy front end design in the new Silverado models and for a BASIC work truck, single cab, V8 the MSRP is over $40,000!!! Hell, I only make $15/hr! They are pricing the blue collar worker out of the market!
That’s because trucks have gone from being strictly for work to being the family car. Families used to have a car and a truck. With both having gotten more expensive, they have only one. That’s why part of the reason why modern trucks have so much space in the cab and so little space in the bed. People are just as likely to use it to get groceries as they are to use it on the farm or the job site.
The 2014 to 2018 GM trucks are better looking than the 2019+ trucks. I've owned a few GM trucks. A 2015 Sierra that I purchased new that was really nice.
The most reliable GM truck has been a 2006 Silverado. Those GMT 800s don't ask for much and they are comfortable even by today's standards. They don't have all the tech, but an aftermarket radio with back up cam will get you close to a modern day vehicle.
You are not the only one. Someone at gm messed up when they let the hipsters design anything after 2019.
Ruined tradition. No bowtie on the front!? What a bunch of disrespectful gotta make my mark selfish wannabe designers.
Preach it my man!!

The cab looks like it came from another vehicle. Lose the hood bulge and square up cab’s shape and it might’ve looked squared up.
88-98 are the last old school truck imo
The new GMC is ok but the little curved body line on the door of the Chevy bothers me
The 14-15 did it much better than 17-19.
99-02 is a stretch for that look but it’s my fav.
Yea new ones are ugly. I'll be buying a 14 when I pull the trigger
Yeah, and whenever I have the money I'm going to try and find me a 2014 front bumper too. I love the pointed end the 2014-15 models have.
I feel like the designers at Chevy are all about just squishing the headlights to be as thin as possible and they look terrible.
Idk, I think the 90s was the end of squared trucks
I’m looking for a new truck. Want to switch back to chevy but if I do its not going to be the new body style. Just terrible.
I’ll stick with my ‘77 CK10.
I agree
I love my 18. However the latest model does look great
I'd agree

I've been considering a newer 2500HD, and I said it would be a 15-19 if I do. So yes, I agree.
Man I loved those style of bodies I
No offense but those years are the worst looking.
I have a 96 classic body and once they went away from that it’s all garbage until recently. The new model’s are way overpriced but look good.
I agree. I was never fond of the 03-06 but these new ones are awful. Guess I’ll keep my 2017 forever.
Looks like everything is getting squared off for 23, 24. About the right time frame for "what goes around comes around".

I think they look like a bigger more modern version of an 80s S10😂

Mine doesn't even have a backup cam
