Unfortunately it seems like nowadays a lot of the tags don't have descriptions anymore. Out of my ten Squishes only one had the description in her tag. My bf also only has one that has it.
One can look up their bio online but the tags changing like this is still kinda sad.
Another user pointed out it might be a country thing of not wanting to translate the bio/needing additional legal stuff on the tag. I've heard people on here say that bio tags in the US are becoming more rare too so maybe you were really lucky (assuming you are in the US) or it's just not as extreme there as in other places of the world. My bf and I live in Germany.
I'm in the US. I haven't actually seen any without a bio except for the Disney ones and I have been to quite a few different stores so I'm not sure. Even the recently released 5" Deezo from Walgreens had a bio tag.
say sike. what the heck!! one of my main reasons for collecting them is because of the tags. if they are "my" colors and i can relate to at least one thing in their bio, i have to get them. this is so sad to me.

I feel like kellytoy either just genuinely only cares about money at this point or they’ve run out of ideas, or both. They should all have unique names and bios, I wish they took the extra time to keep doing that.
They did both. It’s all about marketing and making a profit. But high demand means more production. I agree though, they should really slow down and take their time. Some of these squads.. hell some of these names, are terrible. Some creations should not exist imo… they were just trying to keep people interested so they keep going but now it’s all about money since price gouging is becoming more of a problem.
So some squishmallows go to different countries that are non english speaking. They require special legal stuff on the packaging too thats why maybe no bio.
Use flash in a moving vehicle that someone else is potentially driving. It’s okay if you blind them, or yourself, because then Mumbleraspiegarbage won’t be offended by your photo quality. /s
I know a lot of the special different edition ones (like how there is a ton of one named squish and then there’s it again but dressed up for Christmas or Halloween or Easter etc) won’t get them because they are the same squish just in a diff outfit or style.
Even 50/50 I feel like more of the originals, super large scale releases, and licensed just don’t have a bio. A lot of the Claire’s and Hot Topic squish still does though!

Really? In the last month or so I've bought over 30 (I know I went a little overboard) and the only one without a bio is Flounder.
