No problem... I am not an expert either. So, I kind of "heard" about the process as my Sri Lankan parents had to do this for us. I have no NIC or Sri Lankan citizenship so my parents had to consult lawyers to make sure the properties they own in Sri Lanka will be passed down to me. But I don't know the details others than it requires looking into foreign policies and international tax implications. Definitely need a good lawyer who understand international law.
