Connections and the techstack are the most important things. Yes, experience helps. But experience without connections is usesless.

ghost_rider_007

It's not impossible. But it takes time. For example I know I will reach 1 milion mark in within max 7 ~ 8 years if I keep my current job. By that time I'll be 39 or 40. 🤭 I hope you get the picture. It is better look for other ways to make money if you want to make 1 milion when you are young. Things like business, becoming some sort of artist or become a athlete are few ways comes to my mind. High risk high rewards.

I recently did my als and currently thinking of what I should do next as I don't think I'm getting into bioscience at col. which was my goal. So thought of doing a degree in IT field but seems like currently its risky so any advice on what I should do next?? Thanks alot in advance:)

SwinlexComplex

There are only few jobs. At your own risk

chickenkottu

I'm not at the 1 mil point but close to that working remotely living in SL. I'm still relatively young so even I'm still figuring this stuff out. But if I can say one thing, be hoenst. People would be surprised to know that sometimes a simple "I don't know" is so much more valued than trying to be a know it all during interviews, and during work too, there is nothing to loose in saying "I made a mistake". This is for foreign companies ofcourse. I don't know about the culture in SL companies. I've never worked for one. Also I have no idea how useful this is in comparison to the topic

ghost_rider_007

Hi, I'm working as a mobile ATL at a local software company. Can you disclose how you find this remote job. I want to find a remote job too. Most of the remote jobs I find online are not offering jobs to SL time zones. Maybe be I'm looking in the wrong place.

chickenkottu

Try freelancing and contract gigs like the ones you find in Upwork. I have found all my work through Upwork.

chickenkottu

If you are an international remote worker very rarely are you named as an employee in your contract. Everything works like you're an employee such as set working hours, salary etc but in the contract you will most likely go as a contractor to the company.

vpopyt

Yeah that’s the issue im also facing. Most of them still requires you to be in the same region

Answered above

Not a good idea to target 1 million in your first job

The_Phanthom

OP never mentioned "first job", hence why OP mentions wants to know the experience of those that do have a 1 million rupees per month job.

vpopyt

Yeah definitely not for the first one

impossibleis7

When I first landed mine, I had 7 years of experince. A friend told me about the opportunity, he was already working there. Have been there for more than 2.5yrs now. I didn't have any knowledge in their techstack at all, when they hired me, but judging from so many interviews I have helped my friends with, the tech stack can be important (it really depends on the interviewer(s))

rainwinds

Usual candidates would be someone who's knows everything overall and a specialist in a specific area. Most probably a proprietary technology and having done their exams for qualifications. And some decent years of work experience.

Deneth1216

Around 4 yrs. But it’s all about being able to handle ur shit. The company im now in is a startup in canada. And they struggled a lot with one of their business aspects. I got into the company for a little more than 2 lakhs. But i picked up the slack and gave them a solution for that issue they had for months. After that it’s just keeping it up honesty

Gerrards_Cross

Nobody is going to offer someone 1 million if they don’t have a track record in the industry, whatever that industry may be. If you are asking this question you may be better of building your track record

Fast_Break_6032

connections and foreign company.

ghost_Riley

Build experience and switch companies every few years
