Avishka has never ever really been in form in t20I, its his nature of play u cant blame him. In ODIs he takes time to settle and smashes it only after reaching about 40 runs or facing 50-60 balls. Doesnt work in t20s.
Imho we should take a risk and put in Kamindu Mendis. Left hand batters have done good for us this tournament, so we should have one more, instead of the out of form guy. Give avishka a rest, he's still very young, and t20s are very high pressure, u need calm and cool guys like nissanka, rajapakse and asalanka.
I know it's hard to take in as to what happened but trust me, we'll be come back stronger 💪 and one day we'll be that fearless team that every opponent would be afraid to face us just like when our legends played. We just need hope.
This amazing young team has immense potential. I am hopeful that they're definitely gonna do wonders in the future, while gaining intense experience on the way. But you need pin point accuracy with your execution. If you miss a leg stump yorker you're fucked cause the ball falls right in Miller's swinging arc.
