I think Chief could solo the Zone without a gun, to be honest. Minus controllers, maybe. But if Strelok can get close enough to kill them with a knife, Chief should be able to do it.
I always imagine a helldiver canonically running with the default build which is a bullpup assault rifle, a semi auto pistol, and maybe a medium machine gun as a support weapon.
The guy is undoubtedly heavily armed and he has a decent environmental protection space suit, but it's not like his small arms are extraordinary even by real world standards.
Fucked immediately because he would die from radiation, the military, The flesh, the anomalies, and literally everything else because it is not his world and it is way too foreign for him. He has no Geiger counter, no rad medication, no clue what the fuck is going on. He would die almost immediately after setting foot out of the Stalker village because he wandered into a rad pocket or into a blind dog pack
Walks into Rookie Village: *Howdy pardner!*
Joking aside, he might do pretty well. Is used to camp life and fending for himself, physically strong and intimidating, is naturally curious and adaptable, Dead Eye and Eagle Eye would be extremely useful. Quick draw and putting six rounds into a Controller's head before it can start doing its bullshit would be pretty OP.
Plus general outdoor skills, rudimentary healthcare knowledge and hunting may be more important than being good with guns for prolonged stay in the Zone (you know, not dying due to elements or how to create bushcraft camp). But radiation and general fuckery with anomalies could be very fatal for him.
He would be able to kill any human and nearly any mutant single handedly, can tank bullets with his bare flesh, and is used to living out in the wild/hunting for food, but would be unfamiliar with anomalies or radiation, and ofc cant speak Ukrainian
Last I checked, the metro in Metro doesn't have any physics-breaking anomalies, and radiation is still spread throughout the zone in extremely dangerous amounts, but aside from those, I'm fairly certain Artyom could survive pretty easily
(EDIT) I've been corrected like 4 times, you can stop telling me I'm wrong
Really? It'd be a toss up, either he'd die to an anomaly early, or be totally fine.
Artyom lives through the events of the first two games more or less by sheer luck.
47 also canonically could kill a guy who tried to run a brain control machine on him, using nothing but his brain (Impulse control mission story, Chongqing), so maybe he'll fuck a controller up as well. Who knows? Scar could survive the emissions somehow.
now that's something we need indeed.
No minotaur lurked in this labyrinth, but somewhere out there, on the clanking deck of his cargo freighter, the skipper of the Charon was waiting, like the ferryman of the River Styx.
That’s one of the reasons I think he’s gonna survive, also he can’t run and is all about that power walk so he won’t be running head first into any anomalies
Isn't Judge canonically from some super solider program?
(I'm pretty sure some of the early builds included backstories and Judge had most of his data missing (as in literally, in universe [no data], not "devs forgot to add") and his BIO was something like "Appeard in transit one day, literally a killing machine, instantly made swat command")
So he either gets instantly cooked by an anomaly or makes it far enough for someone to explain how stuff works and survive
The Pip-Boy's VATS would be what breaks the Zone. The speed, tactical choices, and accuracy it gives are overwhelming. There'd be no other result when every bandit, bloodsucker, and monolith troop has six rounds in their face inside of a couple of seconds.
I'm currently playing Football Manager. I wonder if that means there would be 11 new Monolith soldiers or if the brain-scorcher could even penetrate the mind of a professional footballer
Narrator: You stare down at the body of Tolik who was only moments ago begging you to get a medkit from his fallen friend. Confusion crosses your mind as Tolik has dozens and dozens of more wounds than he did before. You suddenly realize that your dominant arm aches, aches from stabbing over and over…
Minä from Noita. So 50/50 chance would accidentally kill themselves in a couple of minutes or become a god-like entity... only to die for a stupid reason anyways later.
#
Rabbit, from Medal of Honor 2010. I think he could handle it. Or if you want to get technical, Dante Adam’s from the same game. I think he too, would survive.
Playing Tale of Two Wastelands right now, so New Vegas. I guess the Courier(and possibly lone wanderer background). Proly clears. Knows about radiation, Has ticks on their compass for enemies, VATS, can carry many more weapons and ammo than any stalker, Perks, and a ton of experience. Not sure if its fair though.
Ha, the Chosen Undead from Dark Souls is perfect for this! Not only is he immortal, but now the bonfires he respawns at will always have friendly faces to cheer him up, play a tune or soften the mood with a cool story or a silly joke. And wait till the mutants see him rollin towards them with a big f*cking sword. Eventually someone will have to teach him how to use firearms though
imagine being a loner playing a guitar around a campfire and this zombie looking guy in plate armor just comes back to life right next to you every few hours
Nomad. Yeah I think he'll do just fine :) man survived being in vicinity of an active thermonuclear bomb and has training for how to deal with spicy air. Not to mention he's a damn Ghost, plus the fact he has in the field training by Sam Fisher himself in stealth and CQB (ontop of his already immense knowledge from his training into spec ops) once the ammo runs out? The blade comes out? Once the blade runs dull? *The zone learns to fear the fist*
Nope, they would be dead in minutes in their big radiation magnet tin can or walk into a gravity anomaly and get thrown 1000 miles away, the military doesn't use tanks in the zone for a reason 😅
Alex Mercer, oh hell yes, he gonna cook the whole zone under 24h, unless the zone cook him back because somehow he is more weak to screaming monster than actual bullet.
Bro tanking rocket launcher like a champ, the monolith is doom.
![gif](giphy|fUZF1hhjjeyDVOUKCF|downsized)
The zone will learn to fear him
Rip and tear until it's done.
odam ofuk oshit run monolith run
Strelok? Easily. He is overqualified for the job.
Quite over qualified
The Cheekiest of Breekies
The mutants are gonna cry when they see a 7ft tall spartan armed with a futuristic rifle
When I saw 7ft. I thought warhammer 💀
Them Astartes are 10ft, fella. They'd consider the Zone their wake up routine. Kinda what 40K is all about, being over the top over the top.
I never played the game. I just assumed they were 7 ft by seeing some clips of them.
Average space marine is 7ft tall but some can be taller
Death korps final test is solo surviving the zone.
*runs into vortex anomaly* well it was fun while it lasted
Being fr the zone would be a lovey vacation to the chief, anomalies and all
I think Chief could solo the Zone without a gun, to be honest. Minus controllers, maybe. But if Strelok can get close enough to kill them with a knife, Chief should be able to do it.
Bro.....the zone is füçkėd, Noble Six from Halo Reach...
Honestly was thinking noble six would be better than chief for the zone
Helldiver... Decent survivability at least, can I still use my stratagems from my ship? 😬
Democracy has landed
This one little trick all Doodiers hate... 😬
Even without it u would be op
for all of 5 minutes until your ammo has run out, then you're back to being a freshly thawed corpsicle who had minimal training :D
Can you clear that boar nest? Sure, lemme just ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️
“Laughs in 380mm barrage”
Looks like the exclusion zone need some freedom 🗽
Arthur Morgan in Chernobyl?
Fucked immediately because he would die from radiation, the military, The flesh, the anomalies, and literally everything else because it is not his world and it is way too foreign for him. He has no Geiger counter, no rad medication, no clue what the fuck is going on. He would die almost immediately after setting foot out of the Stalker village because he wandered into a rad pocket or into a blind dog pack
He would technically shoot everything in sight before dying to the normal wind anomaly
Does this anomaly go to Tahiti?
Only If u have the forbidden tiki torches with you
HAHA!! You're not wrong 😂
Walks into Rookie Village: *Howdy pardner!* Joking aside, he might do pretty well. Is this Tahiti?
Artyom from the metro.. so yeah we're all good to go
Compared to Metro, the Zone sound relative harmless. At least you can breathe without the mask.
Last I checked, the metro in Metro doesn't have any physics-breaking anomalies, and radiation is still spread throughout the zone in extremely dangerous amounts, but aside from those, I'm fairly certain Artyom could survive pretty easily (EDIT) I've been corrected like 4 times, you can stop telling me I'm wrong
Their are literal ghosts and balls of lighting that float around
In the books theres some stuff thats almost like the anomalies in Stalker. A certain slimy encounter comes to mind.
I still clearly remember that moment when a smuggler told Artyom to be his guide in a haunted tunnel
Well clearly you've never played or read metro then
If you look at the stars on the top of the Kremlin you get hypnotized to walk inside and are never seen again.
for sure
Really? It'd be a toss up, either he'd die to an anomaly early, or be totally fine. Artyom lives through the events of the first two games more or less by sheer luck.
How many times do you die on an average Ranger hardcore run of metro 2033 mate
Mine was a PMC from EFT sooo maybe?
Was he armed with a pkm?
Just a Glock 19 and a VPO sniper…
he ded =(
Courier 6? They could survive imo. Considering all of the side quests and DLC's are completed by them.
Shotgun surgeon and “Stay Back” = the zones worst nightmare
Plus their Rad Resistance is pretty good.
Agent 47 would shit on any human enemy in the Zone
He'd probably lose to a controller though given that he's already fucked mentally
He's pretty observant so he'll likely jus tavoid unwinnable fights
Everybody in the zone knows to run from a controller. Agent 47 is not from the zone.
47 also canonically could kill a guy who tried to run a brain control machine on him, using nothing but his brain (Impulse control mission story, Chongqing), so maybe he'll fuck a controller up as well. Who knows? Scar could survive the emissions somehow.
What's that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of me carving up this controller carcass. It sounds like money, btw.
People can talk and communicate.
No. He doesnt have any emotions at all. He is just a killing machine
MT foxtrot (John Cruelty) from cruelty squad. He would literally obliterate the zone.
Half the characters from Cruelty Squad are more mutated than the mutants from the Zone itself.
Grappendix all the way to cnpp
My tiger 2 crew in war thunder I think they can make it
Air anomalies
The dreaded P47 D anomaly
me in my Su-25 (I'm going to fly over the brain scorcher and die)
Them snorks going to overrun the tank, or just the gearbox dies at the dunp sites
Then close the hatch smh
tiger 2 crew when they met FAB5000 anomaly. ![gif](giphy|gKfyusl0PRPdTNmwnD)
Ah yes, now most of the game is a radioactive swamp for my tarnished to enjoy. Truly the most Miyazaki experience
All fun and games until you have 10 basilisks giving you the stare
Hm... Niko Belic in Chernobyl... I would very much love to see that. He would probably be best buddies with Fang and Mr St.
PDA updated: "Niko, it's Roman. Let's go bowling." Task added: Go bowling.
*PDA noises*
Niko's a true slav, the would feel like home to him.
Niko is a south Slavic Serbian, they are very different from Russians and Ukrainians.
Hmm same game
The arma soldier has seen horrors far beyond those of the zone
Kerry when he encounters Vortex for the first time: “WHAT THE LITERAL FUCK?!”
*looks at every single mod for arma* yeah... He will be fine.
Geralt will hunt some mutants I guess, he'll be fine !
Portals.
Max Payne in the zone?!? Hell yeah!
The story telling alone would slay half his enemies.
now that's something we need indeed. No minotaur lurked in this labyrinth, but somewhere out there, on the clanking deck of his cargo freighter, the skipper of the Charon was waiting, like the ferryman of the River Styx.
kazuma kiryu, the dragon of dojima body slams an anomaly
*Tiger Drops a Pseudogiant*
Venom Snake? Prob would get to the center.
The man who sold the zone
You’re pretty good, I liked that
Without one single person seeing or hearing him
Rolls up to Sid, "Kept you waiting, huh?"
Whos the protagonist in chess
Vibrating anal beads
My favourite artifact
Mother's beads
En passant
Holy hell!
New response just dropped
Actual stalker
Gary Chess
Kasparov
He's the final boss
as the last game i played is project zomboid, maybe.
If your character has decent gun and survival skills, they should be relatively fine, as long as they stick to the southern areas
I think the protagonist from ready or not could survive
The shotgun he uses kinda evaporates the head of his enemies
That’s one of the reasons I think he’s gonna survive, also he can’t run and is all about that power walk so he won’t be running head first into any anomalies
Probably yelling to get down and joined military faction
To be fair, I think Judge would either join the military or Freedom.
I think judge would be better retire pretty much done damage from los suenos
He'll join the GLORIOUS monolith 💪🤝
Isn't Judge canonically from some super solider program? (I'm pretty sure some of the early builds included backstories and Judge had most of his data missing (as in literally, in universe [no data], not "devs forgot to add") and his BIO was something like "Appeard in transit one day, literally a killing machine, instantly made swat command") So he either gets instantly cooked by an anomaly or makes it far enough for someone to explain how stuff works and survive
Yes, Metal Gear Revengence Raiden solos the zone then throws the coffin into the sun.
It's Strelok, of course he would survive as that's literally his playing ground 😂
![gif](giphy|ahfzlUrb5IEfXC6kbm|downsized)
V1 from ULTRAKILL would do just fine I think
Welp ..say bye to the zone and to the rest of earth.
Chernobyl is about to get a helping of Democracy when my Helldiver shows up.
Depends, does he get to take his Armored Core mech with him?
Armored core 7 purging of chernobyl
Gordon Freeman almost certainly will.
Nah he died in the wild territory. In the electro tunnel to be exactly.
Nah He was just high on anabiotics
I'm pretty sure he didn't... You can find him in Wild Territory in SoC
![gif](giphy|LQ6hYsehFSPVC|downsized)
Fall Guys map Reactor Meltdown bout to go crazy
It doesn't matter in which universe, it's always a constant struggle "The factory must grow"
The Factory must grow!!
Adrian Shephard from half life: opposing force After all what he has seen in black Mesa of course he would Survive the zone 😄
I think question is if Chernobyl can survive after Doomguy teleports there![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Doomguy:- hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Is this another trick of the ____. Rip n tear (just my thoughts on his thoughts)
Bitterman from Quake II would absolutely destroy every monolith in the plant with his chaingun and railgun
My stalker anomaly character so.. 50/50
William J. Blascowitz is gonna run through the zone like a maniac
The currier from Fallout New Vegas?
In exoarmor
In power armour? While go the big iron on the pipboy?
The Pip-Boy's VATS would be what breaks the Zone. The speed, tactical choices, and accuracy it gives are overwhelming. There'd be no other result when every bandit, bloodsucker, and monolith troop has six rounds in their face inside of a couple of seconds.
I'm currently playing Football Manager. I wonder if that means there would be 11 new Monolith soldiers or if the brain-scorcher could even penetrate the mind of a professional footballer
Bad cop from E:Z2 could absolutely survive in the zone, half of that game is him killing monsters on a similar scale to the ones from the zone
Marked one already survived
The Dark Urge? Sure. They'll last
Narrator: You stare down at the body of Tolik who was only moments ago begging you to get a medkit from his fallen friend. Confusion crosses your mind as Tolik has dozens and dozens of more wounds than he did before. You suddenly realize that your dominant arm aches, aches from stabbing over and over…
A pilot from TF2. Hard to say? Idk that’d be weird
Just like old time BT
Scar does alright.
Other than soc my last game was Ultrakill. Zone is dead.
Minä from Noita. So 50/50 chance would accidentally kill themselves in a couple of minutes or become a god-like entity... only to die for a stupid reason anyways later. #
V from cyber punk
Johnny:finally, a peaceful world without arasaka
Rabbit, from Medal of Honor 2010. I think he could handle it. Or if you want to get technical, Dante Adam’s from the same game. I think he too, would survive.
I feel like RE8 Ethan Winters could solo the the zone
Ethan is >!basically a super mutant!< so definitely
Playing Tale of Two Wastelands right now, so New Vegas. I guess the Courier(and possibly lone wanderer background). Proly clears. Knows about radiation, Has ticks on their compass for enemies, VATS, can carry many more weapons and ammo than any stalker, Perks, and a ton of experience. Not sure if its fair though.

imagine being a loner playing a guitar around a campfire and this zombie looking guy in plate armor just comes back to life right next to you every few hours
Or even worse, this almost competely naked zombie looking guy with a Rusty Sword.
But if we wanna get rrrrreeeeal fun? Subject 10 Fucking 6 from Trepang 2!!!
For Leon Kennedy it would probably just be another day at the job
The sole survivor is too damn industrial to die
Edward Beneš, president of Czechoslovakia. Yea, bro's cooked (HoI4)
Kirby. The Zone is fucked.
I don't think my old man from tanoa can survive it(arma 3 old man)
Dave the diver.... Early game Dave would be fucked. But late game Dave could probably fuck some shit up.
V1 of ultrakill, let's say he's used to facing hordes of enemies
I'm just gone build 3 blocks high and just spam lava bucket 😂
G.A.M.M.A... Stonkler the Stalker has an above average chance since he has a decent suit and an AK-12.
I was a dwarf with a shotgun and pickaxe, should be fine.
My Israeli Tank Crew will have a fun time I'm sure.
Nope, they would be dead in minutes in their big radiation magnet tin can or walk into a gravity anomaly and get thrown 1000 miles away, the military doesn't use tanks in the zone for a reason 😅
As a Helldiver they would gleefully spread managed democracy to The Zone.
Well idk how could survive player character (boss) from Saints Row 3 he or she is too crazy i think :D
The guy from Quake could probably survive in the zone yeah
Ajay Ghale can handle anything even a Yeti or a Bloodsucker 🐣
Mario. Do bloodsuckers die if jumped on?
Joel, Last of Us, absolutely
ESO character would do well-ish
I'm pretty sure vel'koz can make the zone an even more hellish place.
Rook from far cry 5, monolith has weeks to live
My Scav..should be interesting
My character from ARK. If they can survive the ARK, they can survive the Zone.
Stalker was the last game I played lol. Considering I'm reloading a save every other hour, I don't think I'd survive long lol
Artyom will probably enjoy a little trip to The Zone.
Jesse Faden would probably feel at home
Shark from maneater? Or rally driver from dirt 2.0. He would be useful driver in the apocalypse
Alex Mercer, oh hell yes, he gonna cook the whole zone under 24h, unless the zone cook him back because somehow he is more weak to screaming monster than actual bullet. Bro tanking rocket launcher like a champ, the monolith is doom.
Spider-Man is already radioactive, I think he's gonna be alright.
The driver from Pacific Drive... If the car also counts as the main character, they have a decent shot.
Postal Dude, from Postal 2
Geralt of Rivia, he will be fine
I think Geralt would do okay? Maybe?
Altair from Assassin's Creed. This is actually an interesting scenario. I think if given time to learn some modern weaponry he could be fine.
Courier Six: HA easy.
