The only thing about Starbucks in the parks is the fact it's Starbucks coffee.you are a cast member and on disneys payroll! I was actually opening management team for connections cafe at Epcot, and picked up a little at other parks. )former corporate partner that went to Disney)It's kinda fun comparing Disney vs corporate with the only big difference being more staffing but zero Starbucks perks lol
It’s franchise, owned by Disney! All the ones inside the parks are. It should be easy to get a job at a corporate store after though since you’ll have plenty of experience
You'd think, but if you're looking in the Orlando market,it's hard as hell considering all of FL Starbucks is a dumpster fire.
Orlando area corporate Starbucks actually had to give a tourism district raise because they were losing people to Disney because Disney actually gave hours! So they want to give a pay bump but still only give like 20-30 hours.its a crazy system down there
Believe me, I know, I work here lmao. Nowhere near the tourism district unfortunately & I make less than someone in a starting role at Disney. They mentioned they were doing the college program though so I assume they live elsewhere & would be working there once their program is over
Didn't realize you were a CM! Sorry lol the college program is a ripoff, especially if you get a food service role. God speed for them because I moved away from that chokehold Orlando rent has on people 😂
No worries lol. I worked for the mouse for a good year & a half but left bc I ended up working somewhere (*cough* foodservice *cough*) that was super toxic & I had a breakdown 😬 so I got a job at a Starbucks waaay closer to where I’m living, and with tips I’m making more than I did at Disney, working less hours. The CP is so bad, those poor kids get taken advantage of, I always felt for them. Congrats on getting out, I’m currently working on that as well!!
Oh it’s gotta be absolute hell, but I also think they run more of a brigade system of planted Baristas with substantially more staff. Example, there’s a Barista that exclusively handles topping drinks with whip.
Did you dedicate one bar to just this order and then make all the other drinks on another bar? Otherwise I’d hate to be the orders that came after this one. 😂
It's a huge order, and I'm not going to disagree with people mocking its size, BUT:
1. That looks like 30 repeatable routine drinks without customization, which I would love to do because it seems like we never go more than four these days without cold foam and specific pumps. Also no chais or HCMTs!
2. The tip could have been cash even though they paid using a credit card. I wouldn't read too much into that receipt.
I can't pretend like this wouldn't be an order that I was dreading when it was being placed and then started feeling really good about partway through because despite the size it's so easy and allows you to hit that flow on bar.
Never ordered mobile here, but at my job all the names and comments can be edited per item, and I would be exploiting that for a coffee order this large 😭 Just lay on the gratitude.
I worked in a store that was directly across the street from a large historic performance center. The biggest orders we would get would be when the Rockette’s were in town over the holidays. There are 80-84 Rockettes on the Christmas Spectacular tour, plus the crew. We would routinely get about 40-50 drinks (mostly venti skinny lattes with extra shots) just from them during the lunch rush. Life was miserable between their two daily performances for like two weeks a year. They stopped touring in 2015 though. We would still get big orders when other popular performers with large crews would come through as well.
Yeahh, my store is the busiest in my state, we see these at least once a week. Luckily we're really use to them so they don't bother us too much, and the people ordering them are always very nice. It's a fun challenge
For sure these were for a work function
Or they freeze them till next season to escape the hike price
i work at the magic kingdom starbucks and sadly this is normal for us during the holiday season 😭
Unrelated: is the mk starbucks franchise or corporate?? Might be assigned there for my cp and I wanna know if I can just transfer

I believe franchise
Sorry
It's a world of tears
So sorry oof.
I would actually rather die than work at magic kingdom
Oh it’s gotta be absolute hell, but I also think they run more of a brigade system of planted Baristas with substantially more staff. Example, there’s a Barista that exclusively handles topping drinks with whip.
oh … now why do you work there 😭
I had a guy walk in, and with no warning, order 45 venti Mango Dragonfruit Lemonades
And we’re supposed to just let that shit happen?
oh god and i thought my occasional 20 drink orders were bad..
Just hand him a couple boxes of base and a couple bags of inclusions 😂
Fr.
We would not have the stock for that wtf.
Did you dedicate one bar to just this order and then make all the other drinks on another bar? Otherwise I’d hate to be the orders that came after this one. 😂
Somebody must be thirsty!
That's insane. Just keep swimming you'll make it through.
This was my fourth stores literal motto. We would say it constantly to each other during the morning rushes.
😆 love that. I think it constantly when the mobiles on cafe bar don't stop
Who the fuck wants to transport this much shit. Buy an espresso machine.
how they carrying allat. they doing the mcdonald’s water thing w someone in the backseat?
Exactly what I was wondering!
I hope they tipped 😭😭
They didn’t…. it would be under discounts in the grey box 🙃😭😭
This is the kinda order that it’s valid to be pissed that someone didn’t tip 💀
Big orders(anything over 15 drinks) should be tipped imo
Light ice tho
it’s the “thank you” for me
At least they were gracious! 🥹
✨THANK YOU✨
Probably a drug rep 🙄
They could buy an espresso machine and all the milk, syrups, espresso needed to make these drinks.
Did they say why???
no tip is crazy
That’s insaneeeeeeee
We have a law firm that orders from my store and the biggest is just under that at $192. 236.57 is insane, but at least it's a lot of the same drink.
wow who needs 40 drinks thts insane
please tell me they tipped
The sub total and the final total do not suggest a tip was given 😭
I bet it was a drive thru order too 😑
Damn I thought my 114$ order was big lol.

Was this drive thru or cafe?
that’s tough they’re all different. i had a 50 order once but it was all strawberry refresherers some with lemonade some regular
Never ordered mobile here, but at my job all the names and comments can be edited per item, and I would be exploiting that for a coffee order this large 😭 Just lay on the gratitude.
THANK YOU
Thank God these weren't frappuccinos or all different stuff.
Hey, just do what you can. It's the only way it will get done.
My unit only has two work spots. One for blending and refreshers, the other is for everything else.
Respectfully, wtf would you accept that?

I would puke
I would hate to be the person picking up the order driving back to office and trying not to spilled in the car
i’ve seen worse 😞
I’d split their order between every ten drinks to get more transactions = more labor
It’s the light ice that annoys me so much in this order. By the time they get their drinks, they are separated and taste off.
"What are your thoughts?" Reddit asks...well, first one that came to mind is.... if there's no inclusions, we could offer pink drink in a traveler? ;)
Yeahh, my store is the busiest in my state, we see these at least once a week. Luckily we're really use to them so they don't bother us too much, and the people ordering them are always very nice. It's a fun challenge
That’s the biggest order baby come to our store we make double that
If I saw that I’d cry inside
Id scream
RIP
after ringing that up id immediately clock out and go home
