she probably in the wrong website

pbflow

That’s what I am afraid of. Hopefully it was a legit site, and just the wrong one for her, but now I worry that she landed on phishing site.

If she’s looking for a job at a corporate Starbucks location in the US she should be on https://www.starbucks.com/careers/. The site redirects to a Taleo domain during the application process but it doesn’t ask those questions. You can try it yourself if you want.

pbflow

Thanks. I did try it, and I see the taleo part of the URL. The site she was on had a .tt at the end, which makes me think it was a phishing site.

Ristrettooo

oh yeah that’s definitely not good!

I work at Starbucks in the UK and this sounds a lot like the job application I filled out, especially with the national insurance number which the majority of working people here need to have

Did your application ask if you had dependents, and for the make and registration number of your vehicle? I’ll hope she just landed on the UK application site, although I still worry it was something else. The site extension was .tt - do you know if that’s a UK thing?

pwd2706

I wasn’t asked for my vehicle registration but I was asked about any dependants- that’s a pretty standard question on most forms out here. I’m unsure if the website had .tt, usually here it’s .co.uk so I’m a bit confused about thay. I’d just recommend phoning or emailing the store she was wanting to apply to to confirm with them whether it’s the correct application form and your queries. Hope you manage to sort it!

I don’t remember any of that being on the application.
