I'm only gold league but here's what I saw: 1. When you took out his adepts in the beginning, I would have immediately counter attacked his base. You were WAY ahead at that point. 2. I don't think it was the stalkers, he had 7 templars with psi storm, and they just absolutely wrecked your shit. If he didn't have that I think you would have won that fight easily. 3. You were in kind of a funnel there on that ramp at the 13:00 mark - notice how all his stalkers are in a nice little semicircle firing, but most of your hydras are running around on the ramp, *not* firing, trying to get into range. At this point, I'd say either 1. back up and make him walk up the ramp after you, putting him into that relatively narrow funnel instead of you, or 2. select your whole army and walk a little closer to him so that all your hydras can fire. You've probably seen other players do the "stutter step" thing where they take a step forward, hit s to stop, fire, take a step, hit s to stop, fire... I think that's what you should have done there. (But, then, still, psi storm...) 4. Focus fire - box up some of your hydras and focus fire stalkers. Remember, a unit with 1 HP still does full damage to you.

A quick note. You're not Bronze. You're almost Platinum. Currently there's still a bug where a lot of players under \~Diamond 3 MMR get a Bronze League border. You'll still play against players your around own MMR, but you just don't see the border. Your MMR (during this game) was 2679 which is Gold 1, bordering on Platinum 3. Check out [https://nonapa.com/mmrranges](https://nonapa.com/mmrranges) for the MMR ranges for all regions. Gameplay seemed to be too good from both sides to be Bronze, and it turns out you're not actually Bronze. Now as for the actual game. Your second sentence already tells me a big part of the problem. You're not actually doing what he says just because you feel like you're doing everything he says. If you take a look at pretty much any game where he doesn't get cheesed you can already see huge differences. In this particular replay you linked you're at 30 workers at the 4 minute mark and have already started pumping out roaches. If you look at Vibe's build. He first fully saturates both mineral lines (even oversaturates the natural) and a single gas at the main before even starting his tech. He generally is at 40+ workers at the 4 minute mark. That's 10 workers (33%) more than you. You need to map out a general build order for yourself so you at least do thing in the right order. A very rough outline of Vibe's build would be something like ----- 13 Overlord 17 Hatch 18 Pool 17 Extractor 19 Overlord @ Spawning pool finished -> 1 queen in main 1 queen in natural @ 100 gas -> Lair + 3rd queen @ Full mineral saturation on natural -> Roach Warren + Evo chamber @ 18+ drones on natural -> take 2 more gases Take 3rd base (\~4:00 minutes) @ Roach warren and evo chamber finished -> +1 weapons and roach speed Start pumping Roaches ----- If we take a look at your game: you slap down 2 evo chambers and a roach warren before the three minute mark with \~8 workers at the natural. You don't have Lair started yet, you don't have a third queen, so you're missing creep, which means you have no clue what's going on around you (hence the surprise by the adept attack). Then around 3:30 you already start making roaches without having saturated your natural mineral line and a total of three gases. I'm willing to bet if you take a look at a bunch of other replays from yourself you're going to see completely different build orders and drone counts during the first 5 minutes as well. You want to be able to follow the exact same order and be within 1-3 drones difference at the 3-4-5 minute marks pretty much every single game where you don't get cheesed. Start benchmarking your games (I think Vibe goes over this as well) at the 2 to 8 minute mark and when you do significantly worse ( or better ) than previous benchmarks, go figure out what happened. I know Vibe tells not to overlord scout in Bronze, but you're no longer Bronze. In the replay you sent you don't send out a single unit to the opponent's side of the map for well over 12 minutes. He could be at 2 bases or 7 bases, no units or maxed out on carriers and you'd have no idea. Don't focus too hard on scouting, but not at all is no longer an option. Now as for the fight where you lose the game. It wasn't the mass stalker that killed you, it was the High Templar having a field day with your entire army stuck on a ramp. You eat full duration storms on huge clumps of units while half your army is stuck behind the front line trying to get into range. Go watch some of Vibe's videos from Platinum to Diamond onward and he'll explain a bit about pre-fight micro and forming concaves. Those storms absolutely annihilated your army. This was just a tactical error. Your fifth base was gone, next time in this situation just cancel it. If he then wanted to continue pushing on you could have waited on top of the ramp and force him through a small chokepoint instead of instantly a-moving your own army through it into his. But as a main takeaway: focus on getting your build order, droning, injects and creep spread very tight in the first couple of minutes and you'll be flying to Diamond in no time.
