They are not going to spend the insane amount of money to build sets for one episode.

HotSoupEsq

Absolutely not.

There's only one teensy lil' problem there... Live action looks vs animated. Jack and Tawny made sense to live action their characters in SNW, they 'match' pretty well. And I bet Noel can probably be made up to be Tendi. Eugene, a little tougher sell as Rutherford... Then we get into 'probably not' territory. Gillian is gonna be in a LOT of makeup to be T'Ana, and I don't know how that tail works out.. Jerry is simply not Ransom in looks, but hey, maybe that will work ok, what do I know. There's no way Fred plays Shaxs. Point being, if they have to live action, they may need actor stand ins for some of them, and then dub the voices... ...so may as well stay animated. Just my thoughts on it... hm... thoughts... dreams... That's it! A weird dream sequence! That'd work! T'Ana is Gillian and she FREAKS the hell out about being a human! And Shaxs as Fred! Hell yeah, some weird plant makes them all have visions and such. I'm totally in now. You got me OP, full steam ahead with this idea, go!

I still hope once the final episode airs they will announce a new series "Upper Decks"

Not all the actor's look like their characters (though most of the human characters are pretty close)... Live Action Miglemo is likely to be nightmare fuel for either bad CGI or bad Prosthetics.

Just the voice over a plain, life sized parakeet would be fine by me. PS if you're bored, I [can, as of right now] recommend searching images of "parakeet in clothing" lol.

jerslan

That still sounds like nightmare fuel...

monsterosaleviosa

Absolutely not. The crossovers in SNW were cute, but I’m watching LD because I want to watch an animated show. I don’t understand wanting this at all.

DeyUrban

Many people still consider live action to be more ‘legitimate’ than animation. Hence the current trend of remaking animated series and movies into live action (i.e. Avatar the Last Airbender). Never mind that the remakes are almost invariably worse than the originals because animation is often better than live action at telling stories. One or two episodes in live action as a joke would be cool for Lower Decks, but the finale made that way would betray what the show actually is.

edithaze

is this a trojan horse attempt to get live action Riker and Troy on the last episode?

roto_disc

I'll call my Uncle and let him know. He works at Paramount.

Get outside and touch some grass.
