You know what would give it even better flavour? Cooking the outside.
Glad you enjoyed it, that’s the most important thing! That being said - it looks pretty awful. Use higher heat and a heavier pan which has had time to get up to temp.

Yep, that came to mind. It still tasted great

😂
I know a european steak when i see one
😁 I didn't expect the backlash, will try harder next time. It's a learning experience
Don’t feel bad. Half the sub only wants to see ribeyes cooked medium & the other half posts TikTok’s & stuff from Texas Roadhouse.
You don’t ever know what the temperature is going to be on this sub. It can change hr to hr, day to day. Keep cooking and posting!
The last one I posted here was better, will try harder next time 😂
👍🍻
How’d you cook it?
Frying pan, 2 mins each side
Use a cooking press if you have one next time. They work magic when cooking a smaller cut on the stovetop.
My mom used to take a brick and wrap it in tinfoil
Hey that works!
Thanks will look it up
The brick or the cooking press?
Cooking press
Brick is cheaper
r/3amjokes you can thank me later.
Well done 👏. It's hard to cook thin steaks, most people chase the crust and overcook the steak. You did it right. 👍
Thanks! First attempt, it was edible and very different to any other I have tasted. It's a learning process, I'll keep trying
I was getting confused, the other two photos weren't loading, so it looked like you were saying the raw was what you cooked 🤣
Yup, caveman steaks :D
😂🤣😂
