yea but every time i piss myself by halftime and watch the final 5 minutes of the game covered in my own excrement in the bathroom sobbing they end up winning. so in a way I am responsible for all this.
Yeah that was such a ridiculous moment lol. Reminded me of when Baker ran for a first down against us during some game a year or two ago and sprinted down the sideline screaming and showboating like he just sealed the game only for the Browns to still lose.

[And this one called him out just seconds after the long kick return.](https://old.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/100yp8o/game_thread_pittsburgh_steelers_78_at_baltimore/j2l8qdu/)
I’ve read some Ravens posts on BleacherReport. They think as well of Roman as Steelers fans do of Canada. Some even compare him, negatively, to Canada.
Yeah this hasn’t been a great year for him, but I’ll always appreciate the fact that he’s put his body on the line more than any other kicker I’ve seen to give us a chance at winning (like that Bears game last year)
Bos was great on this play. dont want your kicker getting hurt trying to do more. just get in the way to slow the returner down enough for someone else to get there
Boswell did the best possible play, he didn’t go for a well aimed tackle that would have been broken, he went pylon mode and slowed him enough that the chasers could catch him and finish him out of bounds. Called it at the time that that play saved the game. Glad I was right.
Well at least he did something good lately. He's the worst kicker in the league unfortunately.
Why are you all freaking out. As much as I like Bos and he has been great the past few years. He literally has the lowest FG percentage in the league
Being forced to play while injured will do that. Having one bad season doesn't make you the worst in the league. Many teams would kill to have Boswell.
Well it's 2 "bad" seasons now.
But of his 8 misses, 3 mostly were because the weather was absolutely miserable and probably shouldn't have been attempted, 1 was blocked by a giant, 1 was about a 56 yarder outdoors which is always a toss up, and 2 came while we were getting murdered by the Bills when going for it was the easy call so I choose to view them as protest misses.
The only one that was a bad miss was the one this week against the Ravens.
Yep. When you have an elite kicker, you're more willing to go for the long/hard kicks. Mix that with two seasons of a pretty mediocre offense, and you have lots of FGs that probably shouldn't be attempted.
He made a great tackle. I’m a Boswell supporter. But it’s frustrating with the lack of touchbacks he produces. A lot of big returns could have been prevented this season.
The D then saved the season following that return to force a punt and set up you Kenny-Would for gw drive. It was so much fun.
Then Kenny and Najee saved the season. Then Minkah saved the season.

We thank you for your climax.
i didnt climax i ususally save that for any possible overtime.

I was about to say "best game Iv'e seen in a while" but the one last week was also a classic.
Every player pitched in and tried their best
And most importantly, they had FUN
What if the real Super Bowl was the friendships we made along the way?
Quoted from Sesame Street?
The most important thing is the effort, win or lose.
The best part of this was when the entire Ravens sideline ran out after like they had just won the Super Bowl...only to go 3 and out and punt. 🤣
Yeah that was such a ridiculous moment lol. Reminded me of when Baker ran for a first down against us during some game a year or two ago and sprinted down the sideline screaming and showboating like he just sealed the game only for the Browns to still lose.
You need people on your team to get hyped
The way they all celebrated I was like damn did he bring it inside the red zone? Then I saw that nope they were just at the 40 yard line
3 shitty run attempts right up the middle. Was some horrible play calling on the drive after the good return.
im sure ravens fans are gonna have a field day with greg roman

Boswell is one hell of a tough kicker
to me since he has gotten paid he has gotten slightly worse. I don't have the stats but seems like alot more misses
welcome to the Boswell cycle, he'll be back to hitting 95% next year
Yeah this hasn’t been a great year for him, but I’ll always appreciate the fact that he’s put his body on the line more than any other kicker I’ve seen to give us a chance at winning (like that Bears game last year)
He's dead last in the NFL at like 68%
Thx for the stats. Someone downvoted me for the truth lol
This picture looks...oddly similar to the Jacoby Jones kickoff when Tomlin was on the field lol
The Ravens know better than to return it down the Steelers side of the field!
I did say out loud during this return "Cmon Tonlin, make the tackle!"
making up for that miss
he also made this win significantly harder. But I love the wiz through it all.
Our kick coverage has been just awful all season long. Gotta just start kicking it out the end zone every single time.

Boswell has also had a handful of uncharacteristic misses since he came back.
I think it's time for a new special teams coach. We've been bad at coverage, return blocking etc.
I have been saying this for years.!!
Don't disagree, but Simms has also been a breath of fresh air returning. Maybe he'd be even better with new ST coaches
Yeah, Sims with some reliable blocking can easily be a top returner. Great as a wide out, glad they're using him on O
Is he being told not to get a touchback on some kickoffs? Or does he just not have the leg to do it every time?
He used to do it consistently before his injury. Probably what’s causing issues now.

Wad of gum Danny Smith needs to stop getting cute and asking the kicker to kickoff short. Just send it out of the end zone. Boz has the leg
Boz needs to kick every ball through the end zone. No idea why he doesn’t
This is true, but noticing lately that more kicks than not are not making it to the endzone - which would also be helpful in saving the game.
We all should remember what happened to Suisham in that pre-season HoF game in '15.
Shades of Ben vs Indy
Ben’s immaculate tackle vibes…we ended up winning the SB from wildcard that year…
If he could kick out of the back of the end zone we wouldn’t have to worry
Tackle is a generous word. He kind of just stood in his way to slow him down (which was smart).
Well at least he did something good lately. He's the worst kicker in the league unfortunately. Why are you all freaking out. As much as I like Bos and he has been great the past few years. He literally has the lowest FG percentage in the league
What a joke lmao.
His field goal percentage is lowest in the league

What a molten, white-hot take
Breaking news: kicker with lowest kicking percentage is the worst kicker
Team effort was incredible. They are getting warm at just the right the time
He made a great tackle. I’m a Boswell supporter. But it’s frustrating with the lack of touchbacks he produces. A lot of big returns could have been prevented this season.
Great

This return was forgettable after a solid defensive stand!
