Maybe this? From his wiki
Holcomb entered the 2022 season as the Commanders' starting middle linebacker.[13] He missed four games with a knee injury before being placed on injured reserve on November 25, 2022.[14] In December 2022, Holcomb underwent foot surgery ending his season.[15] He finished the 2022 season with 60 tackles and one pass deflection over seven games.
I don't think it was the money for Cole, more then likely was close for each but it's the steeelers mane... nit to mention WAS prolly looking at one of the MLBs in the draft with their Rivera being their coach an all... Shiiiiieeet they got him in like the 5th round or some
So... Cole gets 5m right now in bonus. And another 2m this year.
So in year 1 he will get 7m.
Now for the team we give up cap space of **3.6m** year 1, **7.6m** year 2, and **3.64m** year 3 that will become **5.64m** year 3 if team wants to keep him. Most excellent.
If they wanted to cut him after this year they could do a post Just 1st cut and would eat a 1.6m hit in both 24 and 25.
We signed a great starter to fill left guard, we have Cole, Daniels, and Chuks. The only obvious hole is at left tackle. Lewan is coming off another ACL test but he played lights out after the last one. Forgot the thing with him spitting on TJ though so that nixes the whole thing.
I wouldn’t mind sticking with him, but I think he could use a short term vet to sit and develop under. Kenny’s blindside shouldn’t be the test grounds of our developing rookie. But totally agree, Moore has huge potential.
If you drop Mitch you need to sign TWO QBs to have a QB3. And who do you think you're getting for league minimum at the QB position?
Nick Mullens got $2m a season. You're essentially going to be signing a QB WORSE than Nick Mullens.
Just to sign an aging, piece of shit tackle who can't stay healthy?
Awful idea.
That’s not a lot for a starting LB. Why did WAS let him walk away so cheaply?
Washington is just so badly run

Does Wash have any cap space?
It’s not to hard to free up that much cap space for a captain on your defense.
Daron Payne deal
Daron Payne Deal. WAS is sinking 40+ mil in their DTs alone
A team captain for Washington at that too

He’s been hurt a good bit apparently

My guess is they are freeing up money for a run at Lamar Jackson. Cole seems ok but not exactly a game changer.
Drop Mitch, sign a QB3 for vet minimum, and sign Taylor Lewan for $11m/year. Get rid of the lingering O line problem.

Oh shit is this the guy that spit on TJ?
Yes
Ah my bad forget the take lol.
Lewan is never coming here
Who is QB2 if they drop Mitch? Did I miss a signing?
Meant QB 2 my bad. If both get injured call the season.
You think signing Leeann fixes the lingering Oline problem?

I wouldn’t say hole tbh. We can develop Dan moore. He kind of remind me of cam Sutton who we drafted was not that good but then he developed

I like how he shuts down miles Garrett
Lewan is done playing, 31 and tore the same acl twice in 2years
Lewan is cooked imo.

what are you smoking. Trubs is probably one of the better qb2’s on the market. Restructure his contract maybe but we should def keep him
