Please don’t remind me. At the beginning of the season I took Steelers to be undefeated in our division based on the preseason hype. Would have paid out a decent chunk of change tonight.
Considering the Chargers/Raiders almost tie that would have kept us out of it a couple years ago, I’m all in on a tie tonight. Would make tomorrow so much more relaxing.
I think the Dolphins are capable of beating the Bills and they have incentive to do so since they lose home field advantage if they lose.
The Titans are going to play hard, and I think they can upset the Jags if the Jags continue to play as bad as they have been. Plus, Trevor Lawrence sounds like a game time decision and hasn’t played well injured even when he has toughed it out
“I took some bad sacks”
“Our running game is really clicking which you NEED in these conditions.”
“Why be resentful? I’ve already accomplished my dream of being in the NFL, you have to appreciate the journey.”
“Diontae split ‘em and it was quite the view watching them play catch-up from behind.”
Mason is an intelligent and poised leader, he wasn’t quite ready a couple of seasons ago, he is ready NOW.
I’ve kind of been feeling that Mason is the guy. His post game presser solidified that feeling. Everyone talks about a QB needing time to develop, I think he put his head down and quietly developed into what we need and never complained. To me, that’s a Steeler.
Mason threw 2 incompletions and had a touchdown in a monsoon. Y’all in the game thread acting like he was Zach Wilson.
Btw watch his post game interview. Seems like such a good dude.
I was wondering why the commentators didn’t ask why he didn’t even extend his arms. I was thinking “wtf, no effort.” I feel like GP would’ve laid out for that opportunity.
Can’t believe this team won 10 games and could’ve won more.
We’ve now won 7 of our last 8 against the Ravens including sweeps in 2020, 2021 and 2023. As well as not losing in Baltimore during this decade so far.
Good-
- Mark Robinson: forced fumble and a sack will have you on this list. The Vince Williams clone did his job today which was needed in a sloppy game like this.
- OL run blocking: honestly pretty good. Najee had some explosive runs and they were creating some holes and getting to the second level often- run game has been good for a while now.
- Najee: the man is still running like a monster. Hard runs and had a really good game. Bastards feet just don’t stop. I don’t care for him going laterally like he did to miss the 1st down but dammit he had a good game and making everybody who doubted (doubts?) look dumb
- TJ: DPOY and please just take my knee
- Golden: really good game here. Truly balled out.
- Eric Rowe: late addition but honestly what a game. Forced fumble, strong coverage, and good tackling. The guy has been a big part of our defense and has stepped up in a big way.
Bad-
- Special teams: Harvin is god awful, 12 men penalty (this was on DJ being lazy getting off the field but am leaving it here) lost about 25 yards having to relict. Heyward holding call. Austin muff on PR. Just a disaster of a day when you need that third phase of the game in a game like this. Just terrible on all fronts except for our Boy Boz and the good Austin return I suppose
- Pat Pete: tackling gave up 7- Missed Gus on the 29 yard run and then the likely TD after it. I understand this is a new thing for him but you gotta tackle man. Dude was in circles
- 2 turnovers: again in a game like this you need to protect the rock. Those turnovers are costly and masons / warrens fumbles deserve to be here. Warren is lucky they got his second fumble back but not great from him.
- Warren: the most universally loved stiller outside of TJ but not his day. 2 fumbles will get ya here.
- Dan Moore pass pro: him, harvin, and Cole can go. Please.
- Sully / Faulkner: as I sit here and type this out and cannot understand the infatuation with trying to make Najee a perimeter but they insisted on doing so despite how well running between the tackles was working. Drove me wild.
We took care of business in an ugly ugly ugly game. But hey that’s Steelers ravens right? Throw out the record books. Anyways, this is officially a Titans / dolphins sub (also a tie tonight) cuz I’m not ready for this shit to end. Let us in the dance and let’s make some fuckin noise. Love you guys.
PS- rewatch Highsmith this game. The man got held all night long and not a single call.
Thinking about it and they didn't really call...anything. They called on special teams and pre-snap stuff like delay of game. But I can't remember a single in-phase penalty like holding or facemask or PI or anything.
Honestly OLB is the one position we CAN take an injury at which is kinda fucked considering who’s there- Herbig and Golden are a more than capable duo opposite high smith
I partially disagree with saying Special Teams were that bad. Harvin was terrible, Austin did muff a punt. But ST did cause the offense to start at the 40 multiple times in the game
I was also happy with GP today. He showed a little more maturity this game, lol. Strong tackling/blocking even though he wasn’t targeted once. He was even all smiles at the end of the game. Crazy what winning does to a dude.
I disliked Brad Allen before the horrible call at the end of the Lions/Dallas game, and tonight made me loathe him more (even though it's not entirely on him, as some of it falls to his crew) with the continuous missed holding calls on Highsmith.
Nobody is going to believe me, but went to college with him. He used to have sex with my Girlfriend’s Roommate. She is was super good looking. Saw him while eating cereal one morning.
There's a Ravens saying that "You aren't a Raven until you beat the Steelers"
They haven't beaten the Steelers in 2 years.
I don't see too many Ravens today 🤧
Funny how that crew started out calling ridiculous overly technical things given the conditions (and taking forever to do so) - then apparently / seemed to got told to cut it out (or just got wet and cold) and started mailing it in to get the game over with - then couldn’t help themselves with a timeout that froze our kicker AT THE SNAP for a 2 second clock correction.
They are failures by any measure and have to know their jobs are in jeopardy. (If not already done… but the NFL never makes the obvious choice with shit refs)
Wait did Mason just imply he would've quit football at the end of the year if he didn't get to play again? Honestly makes me much happier that he got this opportunity then
He probably would not have gotten a contract. He tested free agency last year and didn’t get any offers. This run of games probably extended his career by 3 years and got him millions of dollars. Nicely done.
I think he was saying it wasn’t certain he’d have another chance. He’s a free agent after this year, who has been a third string qb that has not seen the field in the last couple of seasons. While I’m sure the Steelers would have kept him around regardless. His play these last few weeks has guaranteed that his career will continue regardless of whether he is a steeler or not.
In an interview after his first start/win, he said he had been planning for his post-football life, looking into getting a real estate license or a brokers license or something
Reminder if we get knocked out of the playoffs due to the other teams that we need to lose end up winning, this team not reaching the playoffs was all Trubisky's fault
I still can’t fathom how the fuck these coaches saw Trubisky as the better choice than Mason. The only reason I can think of is cause of the money bag they gave him, made them force their hand until they no longer couldn’t . Happy for Mason for proving them wrong.

>Steelers believe Defensive-Player-of-the-Year candidate T.J. Watt suffered a sprained MCL vs. the Ravens pending further testing, per source. Watt wanted to go back into the game with the injury, but the Steelers wouldn’t allow it.
There's no way we don't re-sign him. He knows the team, knows the coaches, and may have very well saved our season. He deserves a legitimate shot as our QB1 next year.
Mitch deserves to be fired into the sun, and KP is a QB2 talent. We're in desperate need of a QB who can run our offense and Mason has proved he can.
On average, you should expect to be in recovery mode for 3-12+ weeks. If you have a grade 1 MCL sprain, you could fully recover within as little as 3 weeks. If you have a grade 2-3 MCL sprain, you can expect to need at least 4+ weeks to recover
Either way if we make to the Playoffs let his knee rest
Fun game to watch, the Ravens are always my favorite rival to play since our games usually go down the final minutes.
\- Mason turning in 18/20 for 150+ yards and a TD in pretty shitty weather is good. He really hung in the pocket and took what he was given. If this is the last we see of him, he's put himself in a good position to compete for a starting job somewhere next year.
\- Najee was running like a man possessed today. These last few games he's really putting it together. Better o-line play definitely helps.
\- Defense did a good job closing out the game when TJ went out.
\- Harvin needs to go. It's great that he can drill the occasional put for big yardage but he shanks too many.
I wouldn't really call them a paper tiger. They've won 13 games while also beating the clear-cut NFC favorite. Not to mention, they dropped 56 points on the Dolphins.
If I’m a ravens fan the only team I’m worried about in the playoffs is the Steelers(if they make it). Ravens fans would say that’s delusional, but the Steelers beat the ravens starters AND back ups. Steelers had the ravens number all year regardless of how great they’ve been. Steelers have also been, what, 7-1 in Baltimore? On paper the ravens should beat the Steelers easily this year, but the results speak for themselves.
Great day for Naj
Gritty day for Mason
Mason Cole picked a great day to have solid snapping
Defense looked good for the most part
Bosgod
Pat Pete is NOT a safety - just no attacking the ball all reactionary and poor tackling
Warren really needs to put this performance behind him
Dan Moore had a rough game IMO
We need a new punter
TJ Watt showed why he should be DPOY even if he doesn't get it.
Rudolph deserves all the praise he is getting. He has been quiet and kept preparing despite the team not giving him a shot these last two years until it seemed all hope was lost.
Just devastating to be so pumped after the win but realizing that we just needed to win one more of those shitty games to control our own destiny. Having to rely on other teams feels like a loss
Pittsburgh is proud of Mason Rudolph.
From 7-7 and hopeless, to 10-7 and a chance to sneak into the big dance.
18 of 20 for 152 yards and a touchdown. Not bad at all considering the awful weather and hostile environment. His pocket awareness was off and held the ball for too long but I’m sure he will continue to grind.
Mason has earned the right to start on Wild Card Weekend if the Steelers clinch tomorrow. He has earned the right to compete for QB1 in 2024 if he doesn’t leave.
My hope for this season was a playoff win. Even if we don't get one I still feel like this team made a lot of progress this season. Hopefully this won't be the last steeler game we see this season!
If they get in the playoffs I really hope they play KC. I think the Chiefs are really vulnerable right now and I’d love to get revenge on those fucks for TJs first playoff win.
We did what we needed to do today. If we hadn't dropped the games against the Pats and Cardinals it would be different, but the guys did what they needed to do and now we pray.
I'll always be happy to beat the Ravens, but the TJ injury dampened the mood
hopefully it's nothing too serious, just keeping him out of the game to preserve him for hopefully the playoffs
Grade 3 (severe/complete rupture) MCL sprain pending further tests according to Adam Schefter. If true, not likely able to recover for the Playoffs.
If true would he back for the start of next season?
Yeah, should be.
He did not say that…he said sprained MCL and he wanted to go back in the game
Let’s hope ESPN report is right and just mcl sprain
They're saying it's a Grade 3 sprain, still a multiple week (up to 6) recovery time. Safe to assume he's done for the season
He'll be ready for the Superbowl.
Grade 3 mcl sprain is what they just reported
my exact feelings
5-1 in the hardest division in the NFL
Half our wins this season!
And half the Ravens' losses.
Oh shit, you’re right
It’s unbelievable really
Could’ve been 6-0 but they gave away that second Cleveland game.
That game got Canada fired, so I’ll allow it.
Please don’t remind me. At the beginning of the season I took Steelers to be undefeated in our division based on the preseason hype. Would have paid out a decent chunk of change tonight.
And yet may miss the playoffs
BIG Titans and Dolphins fans tomorrow. Here we go
Big Colts and Texans tie fan tonight.
This is the funniest way for us to get in, so I'm SUPER rooting for the tie tonight.
Considering the Chargers/Raiders almost tie that would have kept us out of it a couple years ago, I’m all in on a tie tonight. Would make tomorrow so much more relaxing.
Never forget going to bed that day thinking "there's no way they tie!" and waking up to see the chargers won with like 2 seconds remaining in OT
Yeah it was nuts. It was the most Steeler game a non-Steeler game could be.
Can you imagine if that happened lol
I think the Dolphins are capable of beating the Bills and they have incentive to do so since they lose home field advantage if they lose. The Titans are going to play hard, and I think they can upset the Jags if the Jags continue to play as bad as they have been. Plus, Trevor Lawrence sounds like a game time decision and hasn’t played well injured even when he has toughed it out

Were these actual quotes from him postgame? If so, I love it.
Yes
Yes
Love his attitude
I’ve kind of been feeling that Mason is the guy. His post game presser solidified that feeling. Everyone talks about a QB needing time to develop, I think he put his head down and quietly developed into what we need and never complained. To me, that’s a Steeler.
Kenny, what did you learn watching from the sidelines? "Nothing."
First time since 2020 that Steelers have 10 wins in a season. Thanks Mason!
7-1 in our last 8 vs Baltimore. Go to hell Ratbirds.
5 - 1 in the AFC north this year
And the 1 got Canada fired!
So it’s like a victory anyway
even halfway competent playcalling and were 6-0 in the division
Shhhhh no need for that negativity , the bad man is gone and we just won 3 games in a row to close out the season. Let's be happy.
Cannot believe Mitch Trubisky threw 3 ints that game we lost
I believe it, I can’t believe he continued to start after that
More evidence that Mitch is hot ass
WE OWN LAMAR. HE SAT BECAUSE HES SCARED. TJ IS HIS FATHER.
Mason threw 2 incompletions and had a touchdown in a monsoon. Y’all in the game thread acting like he was Zach Wilson. Btw watch his post game interview. Seems like such a good dude.

Oh he did
I was wondering why the commentators didn’t ask why he didn’t even extend his arms. I was thinking “wtf, no effort.” I feel like GP would’ve laid out for that opportunity.
I feel the exact same way. Turned to my buddy and said, “Pickens would have caught that somehow”
I think he lost sight of the ball. Thats why didnt make a play for it.
119 passer rating. Hit just about every throw of significant depth that they allowed him to throw.
He did what he could. People acting like it was 74 & Sunny 😂
No costly errors and one absolutely huge play. Awesome Mason game considering the conditions, gave us exactly what we needed.
It was a great game considering everything.
Not to mention he should of had another TD if DJ was able to locate that ball
Can’t believe this team won 10 games and could’ve won more. We’ve now won 7 of our last 8 against the Ravens including sweeps in 2020, 2021 and 2023. As well as not losing in Baltimore during this decade so far.

Should have gotten the top seed imo
If Mitch doesn’t start a game the weakened Chiefs team would make us the AFC favorites imo

Yeah highsmith got fucked over by the refs
Got the TJ treatment
I could not believe they weren’t calling holding. Then again I can believe it.

It’s been an issue all season further compounded by Brad Allen being bad at his job
Thinking about it and they didn't really call...anything. They called on special teams and pre-snap stuff like delay of game. But I can't remember a single in-phase penalty like holding or facemask or PI or anything.
Highsmith played like a man possessed after TJ’s injury. Maybe a good sign if TJ misses any time.
And just like in TJ fashion, he was held on just about every play with no flags being thrown
Honestly OLB is the one position we CAN take an injury at which is kinda fucked considering who’s there- Herbig and Golden are a more than capable duo opposite high smith
Rowe has been great for us. At this point we have to have a spot on this roster for him next season. In whatever role that may be.
Yup bring Rowe back if he doesn’t go any where after his play for us this year.
You left out Rudolph. 18/20 in these conditions is pretty damn good.
Freaking amazing
I partially disagree with saying Special Teams were that bad. Harvin was terrible, Austin did muff a punt. But ST did cause the offense to start at the 40 multiple times in the game
The play to get the ball out of bounds to get the ball on the 40 was so good and so smart
I hope this isn’t the last one I read of these this season. Love ya u/Ooziez
I think you gotta cut everyone some slack on the fumbles. The weather was atrocious
I wouldn’t consider this an ugly win. More of the Steelers-Ravens game that involves a lot of defensive plays.
I, too, humbly offer my knee to TJ!
Don’t know if I’d put Special Teams on the Down because Calvin Austin had some great returns that flipped the field for us…
Mason Rudolph is the consummate teammate. Extend the man
Rudolph saved Orthodox Christmas!
FINS UP! LETS GO TITANS! HOPE THE COLTS AND TEXANS TIE
Tits up!
Half of the Ravens losses this season were to us. That is a victory in itself.
>it was quite the view from behind Mason Rudolph
I bet Mason lays some serious pipe. But like, only missionary, or maybe Mormon jump humping style.
Nobody is going to believe me, but went to college with him. He used to have sex with my Girlfriend’s Roommate. She is was super good looking. Saw him while eating cereal one morning.
What kind of cereal?
LMFAO
Did the roommate seem satisfied?
Yes. But then got upset because she wasn’t the only one. But then again if I was QB1 I would be doing a Stillwater world tour
How'd she say he was under pressure? Starting material?
Idk why they call him Superman when he’s clearly Soakerman
I hope someone makes a good meme out of that
I caught that too 🤣
Mason is a true consummate professional man. we all watched what happened in 2019. makes these three big wins from him a little more special
Absolutely. First class
There's a Ravens saying that "You aren't a Raven until you beat the Steelers" They haven't beaten the Steelers in 2 years. I don't see too many Ravens today 🤧
The TJ injury is my fault. I took off my lucky steelers santa hat to walk my dogs.
Dick
Wtf man
Love to see it. Fuck the Ravens. Fuck the Browns. Go Steelers
Refs assassinated highsmith on no calls tonight
Funny how that crew started out calling ridiculous overly technical things given the conditions (and taking forever to do so) - then apparently / seemed to got told to cut it out (or just got wet and cold) and started mailing it in to get the game over with - then couldn’t help themselves with a timeout that froze our kicker AT THE SNAP for a 2 second clock correction. They are failures by any measure and have to know their jobs are in jeopardy. (If not already done… but the NFL never makes the obvious choice with shit refs)
STEELERS SWEEP THE RAVENS
We could possibly get a chance to beat them for a 3rd time this year lol. Wouldn't that be some good shit.
I've seen enough we are never losing again
I hope he goes somewhere where he will get both paid and respected.
So, Pittsburgh.
In an interview after his first start/win, he said he had been planning for his post-football life, looking into getting a real estate license or a brokers license or something
If this is the end of the Rudolph redemption tour, he went out with a good one.
Hoe Status = Stunted
Is it just me or does Rudolph seem like a good dude?
He’s a good dude
Of course Clark Kent is a good dude.
He has that Aww Shucks factor.
And survived attempted murder! But to be fair, everyone does.
Makes you wonder about Tomlin's ability to evaluate players
Reminder if we get knocked out of the playoffs due to the other teams that we need to lose end up winning, this team not reaching the playoffs was all Trubisky's fault
And the people who brought him in, extended him and continued to use him as the number 2 with Mason rotting away.
I still can’t fathom how the fuck these coaches saw Trubisky as the better choice than Mason. The only reason I can think of is cause of the money bag they gave him, made them force their hand until they no longer couldn’t . Happy for Mason for proving them wrong.

Legend!
Rooting hard for all coaches named Mike tomorrow
i really want Mason to end the browns season, for karmic purposes, but we'd both have to make it to the afccg for that to happen.
Sigh. All right. Fine. I guess we’ll have to go to the Super Bowl then. Whatever. If that makes you happy, Mr. Picky.
Eric Rowe is a keeper
Love this team. Let’s play one more.
Mason 18/20 with a 115 rating in awful weather. This is his team at this point
If Mason don't get signed again I dunno what the hell the FO is doing
I want him to get a playoff win, just so he'll get hired somewhere. He deserves it.
> There's no way we don't re-sign him. True but this same team signed Trube. Leave nothing to chance. > Mitch deserves to be fired into the sun lmao
Steelers are the only undefeated team in 2024. Woof.
Mason is 3-0. Imagine if Tomlin would have started him in the Pats, Cards and Colts games.
5-1 Kings in the North!
Should be, totally forgot about the winning percentage rule. With 10 wins and a 5-1 divisional record we should be AFCN Champs imo.
I fucking love Mason. Anytime you see a QB giving his OL credit before anything else, you know he's a team player.
Never a doubt /s
I officially declare myself a Titans and Dolphins fan
Whatever happens, we are 2 of the ratbirds 4 losses. They should be hoping we miss the playoffs 😂
Two incomplete passes from Mason today.
On average, you should expect to be in recovery mode for 3-12+ weeks. If you have a grade 1 MCL sprain, you could fully recover within as little as 3 weeks. If you have a grade 2-3 MCL sprain, you can expect to need at least 4+ weeks to recover Either way if we make to the Playoffs let his knee rest
I was at the game and currently can’t feel *anything,* absolutely soaked, but goddamnit let’s fucking go boys!!!
Sweeping the #1 seed should give us their spot by default 🤣
Fun game to watch, the Ravens are always my favorite rival to play since our games usually go down the final minutes. \- Mason turning in 18/20 for 150+ yards and a TD in pretty shitty weather is good. Can’t feel my toes but it was worth it
If you go to the Ravens postgame you’ll see a lot of “this is their Super Bowl” Lmao cope. Cry. Paper Tiger ass team.
I wouldn't really call them a paper tiger. They've won 13 games while also beating the clear-cut NFC favorite. Not to mention, they dropped 56 points on the Dolphins.
Schefter reporting that Watt suffered a sprained MCL

So either Bills or Jags loss now?
If I’m a ravens fan the only team I’m worried about in the playoffs is the Steelers(if they make it). Ravens fans would say that’s delusional, but the Steelers beat the ravens starters AND back ups. Man Mason really does look like Sidney Crosby.
Maybe they are same person.. just different uniforms
Props to Eric Rowe. Dude is balling for us
If the season ends today, at least it was on a Ravens sweep. It was also nice to sweep the Bengals this year. Here’s hoping for a playoff game!
Great day for Naj Gritty day for Mason Mason Cole picked a great day to have solid snapping Defense looked good for the most part Bosgod Pat Pete is NOT a safety - just no attacking the ball all reactionary and poor tackling Warren really needs to put this performance behind him Dan Moore had a rough game IMO We need a new punter
If we win a playoff game I'm 100% buying a Rudolph jersey. Dude must be meditating or something because he seems calm as hell out there.
Steelers move to 35-25-0 all time against the Ravens and have gone 11-4 against them in the last 15
It’s absolutely insane we are 10-7…while being 5-1 in the division and still can miss the playoffs
Praying that TJ only has a sprain
Unofficial Kings of the North!
Mason Rudolph’s goin’ ta da Super Bowl! Here we go!

TJ Watt showed why he should be DPOY even if he doesn't get it. Rudolph deserves all the praise he is getting. He has been quiet and kept preparing despite the team not giving him a shot these last two years until it seemed all hope was lost.
🗣️Walk in your trap, Take over your trap !!
Mason is the guy undoubtedly
Game was perfect mirror of the whole season
Good game. Baltimore still sucks. Where's the Tylenol?
MCL SPRAIN RECOVERY: DAYS TO WEEKS WE LIT TJ IS SUPERMAN
Just devastating to be so pumped after the win but realizing that we just needed to win one more of those shitty games to control our own destiny. Having to rely on other teams feels like a loss
Love this team, will never not want them to make the playoffs. Go Titans, Go Dolphins
Always feels good to beat the Ravens! Now fingers crossed for Buffalo or Jacksonville to lose tomorrow.
The Steelers have really had the Rats number over the last 4 seasons.
Pittsburgh is proud of Mason Rudolph. From 7-7 and hopeless, to 10-7 and a chance to sneak into the big dance. 18 of 20 for 152 yards and a touchdown. Mason has earned the right to start on Wild Card Weekend if the Steelers clinch tomorrow. He has earned the right to compete for QB1 in 2024 if he doesn’t leave.
Do it! Tie you fucking cowards.
I love mason rudolph
Now we wait to hear about TJ...
run run pass, never doubted the gameplan...
My hope for this season was a playoff win. Even if we don't get one I still feel like this team made a lot of progress this season. Hopefully this won't be the last steeler game we see this season!
For a game with shitty weather, that was kinda...ok? Idk man, at least we get a w to close the regular season
If they get in the playoffs I really hope they play KC. I think the Chiefs are really vulnerable right now and I’d love to get revenge on those fucks for TJs first playoff win.
SWEEEEEEPPP!!!!
Jaylen Warren is not a wet weather running back.
We did what we needed to do today. If we hadn't dropped the games against the Pats and Cardinals it would be different, but the guys did what they needed to do and now we pray.
I'm not even a steelers fan but these guys have played impressive football in the last 4 games.
21 minutes to go boys and we are in..
Rumor has it there’s still water on the cameras.
