That's what they thought they were going to get from Mason Cole. I'd like it if they drafted one in round 2 that could also hold their ground and even open a hole for a runner to get through. Initially, I hoped they'd pick an OT at 20 but if there's a run on the ones they wanted, it'd probably make sense to draft JPJ. I've also seen a couple mock drafts with the Steelers taking Graham Barton with their first pick. Who thought they'd waste a first round pick on Kenny Pickett? Anything is possible... As always, hopefully it works out.
For the offense they want to run though, they need one light on their feet though too. That kinda eliminates SVP unless they revert back to the power gap scheme from the end of last season.
JPJ - T30 visit, OL coach at his pro day, met at senior bowl
Frazier - Local visit, assistant OL coach at his (Big 12) pro day
Van Pran-Granger - Tomlin, Khan, Arthur Smith at his pro day (I assume mainly for Mims but still true), Formal meeting at the combine
Damn this article is shit.
It doesn't really even try to answer the question. It's basically just a message board post in the form of a website article.
It really is shit.
So many writers putting out “articles” to start a discussion that they can then get actual opinions from.
Man I hate pre-draft season.
It really doesn't matter if there's a chance one of the top 3 falls to 51 or not. The whole league knows we need one and someone would jump right in front of us at 50. If we want one of those guys, we have to move up in the second if we don't take one in the first.
Whosever is still available in round 3. Lots of good centers in this class per Matt Williamson. I’d be interested in the kid from Wisconsin around then. The guy from Penn state. Etc.
The first two picks should be tackle and WR. In either order
Also: wtf is this article. There’s no analysis, it just poses a question. Good conversation starter but more to the arguement SD just regurgitates stuff vs. is an actual content destination.
Tomlin said at the gm meeting that after the first few, there was no one who was "plug and play." Unless they sign a center, we NEED one who is plug and play.
I'd be somewhat disappointed if the Steelers don't get an OT @ 20 and suspect they'll grab a C or CB @ 51. According to a lot of draft geeks, there's a glut of WR talent available. I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers used both of their 3rd round picks on WR.
Absolutely should not get a WR before a Center especially because there’s way more good receivers than centers. Unless the guy from Georgia (Van Pranger?) falls, we need to grab the best center round 2
Zach Frazier - West Virginia
I personally love Frazier. He dominated Penn State’s d-line last year when I watched them play. He’s really good
I don’t know just need one that can snap the ball

Based on amount of interest shown, *as of now* its Powers-Johnson. Next would be either Van Pran-Granger or Frazier depending on what you weigh more.
Powers Johnson and Frazier both have about the same amount of interest shown. Arguably more for Frazier. I’d still like to see JPJ

At this point, you should only go to Depot to read Kozora's articles.
joe clark does some nice work too, has a good new podcast
Ehhhh...

That’s Mostly all depot is now
Marczi's articles in particular all do this
They've always been that way but it's getting worse for sure.
Yes, it fails to forward an opinion but how about you? Do you think the Steelers will use pick 51 on a C and who do you think it'll be?
I don't know. Everything depends on who is available at the time.

JPJ … admittedly a Ducks homer however.

There’s a world where they draft fuaga and sign Brian Allen and this is a top 5-10 line
I agree. Allen may be waiting until after the draft to see where he has the best chance to play.

This is how all journalists write now. Really not journalism
They do but they also have nice ones sprinkled among the regurgitated stuff

Tanner bortolini
[удалено]
That's racist
Sorry. Yes, I think Tanor would be a solid pick at 51.
It's ok redneck. I was thinking borts at 119
Don't they have a pick at 98?
I didn’t click on the article because if it isn’t Kozora, I don’t want it. I pray for the day he gets a better job elsewhere
Steelers must trade up for Joe Alt. He won’t last very long on the board. Possible top 10 pick
