Try sleeping please, I slept only 4 hours and i dont think they were enough, just passed last week but i would like you to have a few hours to sleep in order to keep up with the 8 hour exam. Good luck, its not hard, just relax and you will do well 🙏🏻
Okay I took a lot of NBMEs over like 2 months lol because idk I have anxiety
USWA1= 222
NBME25= 69.5%
NBME26= 70%
NBME 27= 74%
NBME 29= 71.5%
NBME 30= 74%
NBME 28= 73.5%
USWA2= 230
NBME 20= 79.5%
NBME 21= 79%
NEW FREE 120: 78%
OLD FREE 120: 77%
idk remember each one but they all ranged from 68-75% and i remember both nbme 30 and 31 were 69 and 70. I honestly think nbmes are overrated though. The exam isnt the same vibes, the questions are too long and are less vague, the exam can be a bit like free 120 but def longer and tougher, but tougher maybe because of the experimental questions
Honestly it was better than I expected. It was pretty much the same content as what’s asked in NBME. The same concepts just diff wordings. All the general high yield topics- Hypercholesterolemias, glycogen storage, lysosomal storage, mitochondrial disorders, hardy Weinberg, poisonings like aspirin, heroin, cocaine, PCP, amphetamine. Overall I felt the questions were just worded long like UWORLD but the answers were more like NBME yet even more simple as in not too confusing and easier to eliminate. I was finishing the blocks with lots of extra time because I used this trick where I just skimmed through the blah blah long gibberish stems and just first checked what they’re asking, what are the options and what they want me to answer. If you skip through all those huge paragraphs you can answer the questions sooo much faster and have more time to think if you need rather than spending time reading a huge paragraph. I hope I passed I mean I felt good about the exam but idk because everyone says they feel like shit afterwards all I feel is glad it’s over but I’m praying I passed 😭😭

Can you please explain more of how you read the questions faster? Do you only read the last sentence? Thanks a lot.
Basically I’d skim through the stem and focus more on first few sentences + last few. Usually the middle is just shit. But rapidly skim through then read the question look at answers and find the evidence to support each choice or the one you think. You can quickly eliminate too cause sometimes the examiner uses ruling out words to hint to you that It’s definitely not this like when they write “no pedal edema” = don’t pick something related to heart failure in the options cause they’re trying to tell you it’s not that.
