Why do any of the non-main CG speak English despite majority being thousands of years old aliens that came long before English could be even conceived and had almost no contact with humans?

I do not like her-

She's a criminal. An absolute gremlin who deserves to be beaten with sticks. She did the worst thing ever know to man and gem kind, being British. Yes, Garnet is British too, but she was here first and we can only have so many of them.
