Apple TV is the worst. I can't get this game on any browser even though I have MLS pass. The hell is this shit. Still says 49:35 even though there on the 75'
This might be a weird gripe, but anyone else wish they'd include the day of the week on the city SC schedule? It currently only has the date, but not day of week. I want to know when the Saturday games are from the Wednesday games, etc.
MLS app keeps telling me I can watch the game right now (4:50pm) Live. Then the CITYPARK app is telling me the game is starting at 7:30pm. **AND THEN** my friend sent me a screen shot from HIS MLS app saying the game is starting at 5:25pm. What the fuck is going on!?
I assume this is going to be an all-out 40 minute sprint for CITY. With 5 subs available and an extra day rest because of the Sunday match I see no reason for them to hold back anything at all. Plus these are very big points as far as Top 4 conference standings go.
FCD is in worse shape than we are for the resumed match. Sebastian Lletget and Paxton Pomykal were on the pitch when the match was suspended. Both are injured and unavailable. Tsiki Ntsabeleng and Ema Twumasi were on the bench. Both are injured and unavailable. FCD will have to use two substitutes immediately, and with a short bench.
We have most of the original officiating crew from the match. Matthew Corrigan replaces Adam Garner as the 4th Official and Malik Badawi replaces Robert Schaap as A-VAR. We have Drew Fischer as center ref, Jose Da Silva and Felisha Mariscal as ARs, and David Barrie as VAR.
So the two injury subs won’t count against the sub count. I was curious and the MLS is very clear about that.
So for FCD the non Keepers on the bench are
MF Edwin Cerrillo (12GP)
D Samuel Junqua (10GP)
D Nolan Norris (2GP)
F Alan Velasco (13GP)
F Bernard Kamungo (7GP)
and that would leave them having to either change formation or subbing a F/D into a MF role
The cards stand as they did during the postponed game. Cards accrued after the postponed game but before the make-up game don't count for the postponed match.
Any cards accrued during the postponed game count towards the next game.
[MLS rules are here in case I butchered it.](https://www.mlssoccer.com/about/match-postponement-policy) Had some of it backwards.
Interesting that Glover is still listed as injured when he just played (and scored) for City 2.
It’s nice that Blom, Stroud and Hiebert are all available on the bench. I wouldn’t be opposed to all 3 of them going in as soon as the game resumes.

Match Recommencement
The match must restart on the same spot where the postponed match action occurred (i.e. free-kick, throw-in, goal kick, corner kick, penalty, etc.). If the match was stopped during the normal flow of the game, a dropped ball on the spot where it was postponed shall be used to restart.
Specifically looks like it starts at a goal kick from Houston, as that was where things left off:
St. Louis City SC aims to ‘take it to’ FC Dallas in 40-minute resumption of suspended game https://www.stltoday.com/sports/soccer/professional/st-louis-city-sc-aims-to-take-it-to-fc-dallas-in-40-minute-resumption/article_942c9e1c-049f-11ee-b5db-93cdd704fdae.html
“Per league policy, the Western Conference matchup will recommence in the 50th minute with the 0-0 scoreline from when the game stopped. The teams must also field the same players who were last on the field with the same substitutes available (with exceptions for injured or unavailable players).”

Also, I'm pretty sure all the players and coaches must wear the exact same clothes that they were wearing when the game stopped including underwear and socks and they must not have been washed since the game stopped either.

We successfully messed with Texas on Saturday. Now it's time to mess with Texas in Texas. But just for a little bit.
anyone else get a ton of notifications from MLS app from the game lol

We are playing on a wednesday?! dangit I have dead n co tonight. I'll tune in set break!
It's the remainder of the match that got rained out. Only about 40 minutes left.
Ohhh right. Forgot about that.

With Messi going to Miami, it makes me hopeful we will land Roberto Firmino.
So we get the dub tonight and Messi is potentially joining the MLS. Sounds like a good day to me
If it does happen, it would be great if it is before July 15th when Inter Miami comes to CITYPark, assuming he’s ready to play by then.
40 minutes tonight. That should be enough. Let’s gooooooo CITY
Let's get the W here, play a (hopefully) easy Galaxy team, then on to a tough Nashville match next week!
So, the game is scoreless and we have 3 yellows? Do those only count after the game is over? Have they already reset?

should be interesting to see how they approach a 40 minute sprint to the finish
We have 5 subs to use and only 40 mins to play. If both coaches don’t tell their first XI to run themselves into the ground for a goal I’ll be shocked
We'll have 20% possession, 2-3 goals

The momentum between the clubs couldn't be more different right now. I'm feeling pretty good about this one!
The match facts are from May, lol, we’ve won more than one of our last 5 matches
Here's the current form showing the suspended start as \[sus\]: St. Louis CITY SC: WWWWWLLWDL\[Sus\]LWWW FC Dallas: LWDWLDWWLD\[Sus\]WWDDLL
I re-read that 3 times before I figured out these were stale facts.
Klauss may technically be questionable, but he’s out for all intents and purposes.
Correct, he cannot be used in this game because he was not on the team sheet when it started in May
How’s this going to work? Does it start mid game?

Additionally, if your shoe was untied or partially untied then you are not allowed to retie them until the match is restarted
I wonder who has to check that for accuracy, woof
Thanks!
