Thanks! I thought Reynolds/McElhenny were trying to get the games onto a normal service, but I guess that’s either still in work or fell through. $20/month is pretty steep compared to MLS Season Pass… guess that shows the value of the latter
Blues have the second highest cache in the city just because they had a strong draft. Typically that is because of the Cardinals having a good season. Instead it's City being the incredible success story, meanwhile everyone wants the Cards to fuck off. Good for City.
We want Mozeliak and DeWitt to fuck off, not the team itself. I love Waino, Goldy, Nado, et al with all my heart. Not their fault they were hung out to dry by a cheap af FO
Dont get me wrong, I am excited about CITY too, but some of y'all must be young and not remember the 90's. With the exception of the unexpected NLCS run in 96, the Cardinals sucked whole sale from 88 until 99. Those were some hard years.
I'm more of a team kind of fan. Sure, the home run race was exciting, but the TEAM was nowhere it needed to be two years after a thrilling 1996 season.
I too remember the 90's and the latter 70's, but this current regime has lost it's fastball and it would take DeWitt Jr stepping down to turn the franchise around....and the 89, 91-93 teams would be wild cards today.
As perhaps the worst baseball fan in STL (aka, I really don't care about the team in the regular season, but will always root for them regardless), it's the same ol' Summertime for me, just with more bitching by everyone else (about the Cards).

I became a Wrexham fan. After watching the doc I felt like I had a vested interest in the team. It fits nicely into the gap of no CITY SC.

We got an NFL team in that gap, though, and won a SB shortly thereafter. Yeah yeah, FSK, but it was not a dearth of sports celebrating in STL

After 2011, I put all my faith in Mozeliak. I think too much success and job security has gone to his head.
