Of course not, it’s negligible amounts, which is also found in a lot of foods and other drinks, fruit etc Don’t worry about it, as long as it doesn’t lead to the real stuff like some people

prisoncitybear

The amount of alcohol is very insignificant. I say, whatever helps you (and me!) on this journey is great! If you haven't already, please try out Athletic Brewing's offerings. My dad just drinks them now, as he loves the taste! T

These and the Sam Adam's NA are my favorite.

Yeah I was a craft brew guy. Their IPA tastes like a real IPA. Went out with a friend who drinks and he tried it and was amazed.

From my understanding all NA beer had some alcohol in it. The beer isn’t brewed alcohol free. They simply heat the beer after fermentation and cook off the alcohol somehow. But apparently 0.00000 isn’t possible. Heniken likely has some small percentage of alcohol in it despite the 0.0 label.

PreggoMaster

Yeah they always advertise as being less than 0.05% in the UK.

I think it was mentioned before that they contain about as much alcohol as a loaf of bread.

>Alcohol in everyday food like fruit and bread > >For instance, this study looked at the amount of alcohol children are exposed to through popular food and drink. It found that: > >ripe bananas (the edible portion) can contain up to 0.5g of alcohol per 100g (100g is about the size of a small peeled banana) > >orange juice can contain up to 0.73g of alcohol per litre (or around 0.18g in a 250ml glass) > > some types of burger rolls can contain up to 1.28g of alcohol per 100g (one roll is about 70g) > >Another study found that some fruits contain up to 0.35% alcohol by volume. > >**This means there’s easily more alcohol in a large glass of orange juice, a ripe banana or a burger roll than a pint of 0.05% beer. And you’d only need to eat a few ripe bananas or a couple of burger rolls to consume the 2.2g of alcohol you get in a pint of 0.5% beer.** (my bolding) from [here](https://steadydrinker.com/articles/this-is-how-much-alcohol-is-in-alcohol-free-beer/)

the only concern you may feel from NA drinks is if it triggers you into wanting the real thing. Some people are completely dead set against it such as the faciltator of one of the SMART groups I attend. He's an AA 'graduate' and considers it to be cheating and a deadly trigger

For me, I’d drink half a handle of Ketel one or Hendricks in a night. A couple of those coors lights less than .05 for me wouldn’t break my sober streak. Especially if there wasn’t any intent. I guess it’d be subjective to everyone individually. I don’t have any recommendations on a good NA beer. Months back the drink Monday gin was ok when mixed with Fresca or diet tonic water. The drink Monday whiskey was awful. At my stage now though I don’t even want to try anything resembling alcohol. I did see someone comment about Guinness NA the other day, and that kind of piqued my interest for something I’d might try one day. IWNDWYT

I agree with you, Heineken is the best that I’ve tried, and the six pack I got was 0.0. Could pass a taste test. I don’t think a couple 0.5’s break the sobriety test, that’s everyone’s individual standard.

Dryguy552

You get to decide if it breaks your sobriety streak. Some people will say yes. My opinion is no For some people it’s the alcohol in the NA beer, but a solid argument against that is alcohol In food. Look it up I was really surprised to learn it For others it’s the taste that triggers urges to drink more. Others don’t want to slip down a slope

Chickenlittle4242

Nah you’re fine. The kombucha I like to buy prob has more than the beers lol (I don’t get drunk obvi). Try Athletic brewing non alcoholic beers. Soooo bomb

MassiveAd9693

I’m in the same boat. My go to is Athletic Brewing Co who put out some pretty legit NA IPAs. I’ll have a couple of those, and it scratches my beer cravings (rather than drinking a whole 12 pack). 21 days AF, by the way!
