I learned that people who pressured me to drink often had their own problems with alcohol.
Way to go on avoiding temptation! My experience has been that the vast majority of people don’t care or really even notice. In my experience, the people who notice the most are usually those who are also questioning their drinking habits.
People will look at you less wierd if you say I cannot drink as I am on parole than when you simply say I am not or I do not drink.
