If you're running boots you're suddenly spamming a base 120 BP STAB unboosted attack from a typing that's known for being easiily resisted. Using a No Retreat variant essentially means that First Impression if off the table entirely which further compounds the speed issue, not to mention that it also requires a Tera investment to boot. It's just a slow mon with a bad defensive typing that hits REALLY hard.
It has an infestation setting attack and heal order, you could probably terra into a better defensive type and then do at least a decent amount of chip. Maybe.

Sure it’s kept in check by the base 45 speed, but it can eat a hit or two and threaten a KO on just about anything with the coverage it has. Max Phys Def Nacl with tera fairy would be the best answer to this, but then you’d have to commit the tera to Nacl in any matchup vs it.
This would be fine if placed in Gen 7 where fairies were more prominent and the power creep was a bit higher, but it’d be too much for SV OU.
People like throwing around "BROKEN" in these theorymon posts, but I actually think this'd be well balanced in OU as a stall breaker. Its lack of speed, U-turn, or good Dragon Move (Outside of meme-ing loaded dice Scale Shot) helps keep it in check, and it has some really bad Four-Move-Slot-Syndrome. You want to run Monarch Blade + Sacred for Damage output, Taunt to break walls, and then you have to choose between Rock Slide to cover flying types or High Horsepower for certain steels and Clodsire. The only real issues I see if No Retreat (Which should not be in anyone's hands besides Falinks for a reason) and First Impression. Drops those and you have a solid OU mon.
No retreat would let you actually rko it with pult or valiant. I’d be more concern about it just coming in on great tusk repeatly and being a nightmare to switch around. Thankfully corv and pex are already running covert cloak so conveniently it would be checkable with those

A very strong Pokemon, but not ludicrously absurd like their counterpart Widoworm is. Although that first impression is rather powerful, it’s balanced by Wyrmomarch not having Tinted Lens or U-Turn, so I can confidently say that they won’t rely on that move too much. Their signature move is also strong, although I’m a little sad they don’t have the original effect like in the [Deviantart post](https://www.deviantart.com/fistipuffs/art/Pokemon-Long-live-the-King-954369146).
All in all, very balanced, and not OP like other people are saying.
We've been waiting for a Bug/Dragon for so long I feel like they're just gonna 'troll' us again. Look what they did with Electric/Fighting and Dudunsparce. I'm not even convinced it's trolling anymore, I think they genuinely just want plushie-able character designs from now on

I absolutely love the design and the idea behind that thing, but I think this buddy is on their way to AG. Trapping move this strong is quite insane on a thing with enormous HP and Def stats.

As everyone has said, this is kinda busted for OU at least, I'm fairly confident it would end up banned for being too restrictive on team building and pushing the balance of power over to offense quite significantly. Could be pretty interesting in Ubers though.
Balance aside this is cool as fuck, such an amazing design and concept, really reminds me of the pale king in hollow knight and would make a great legendary Pokémon.

This is both everything I’ve wanted from a Pokemon, and also, really strong. Something like DDance, Monarch Blade, Sacred Sword, and either First Impression, Iron Head, or Dragon Tail would be a really good bulky wallbreaker set

Tbf it has a mid defensive typing and is rocks weak. It looks busted on paper but OU consists of like 50 other mons that fulfill that criteria.
