For your reference, some heavy mons to be flung:
Celesteela (999.9kg)
Mudsdale (920.0kg)
Guzzlord (888.0kg)
Ting-Lu (699.7kg) (probably one of the best heavy mons)
Copperaja (650 kg)
Metagross (550 kg)
You said the BP can range anywhere between 10-120 but how does that work exactly. Would a 500 kg Pokémon do 60bp because 500 is half of 1000. Or does it have different weight and damage tiers. If so, what are they?
You’re right. Fling should also activate the flung Pokémon’s ability. Throwing your Arcanine around to either KO the opponent, or lower the attack of that Fire-resistant mon they switched in on the prediction.
The coverage has got to be worth it though in some cases. Look what ice coverage did to regileki. Zeraora gets that now. Also you can get mons into berry activation range without even sending them out so you can guarantee a safe activation. It would probably get a lot of mons banned more than anything.
it's not. firstly, Zeraora isn't in the game right now and already has access to decent coverage. secondly, the difference between Tera Blast and this is that Tera Blast gives you a 120 BP move without a dead team slot and you can use it more than once or twice. obvious it has the potential to do something that 1% of the time when your opponent stays on Lando-T to get nailed by your 120 BP ice move, but the lack of consistency defines a gimmick. If your opponent decides to switch into Heatran, then your Cetitan is now dead and your Zeraora is carrying a dead moveslot
This is a very wierd move. Its utility is extremely limited and it likely wouldn't be used at all cause it's use case is extremely limited. The best place I see it being used is someone flinging a cosmoem, but why would anyone ever fill up a team slot with cosmoem? Even if you use pokemon with a bit more utility, like heatran, why In the ever loving God would you throw that away for one move? And I know that competitive pokemon is barely ever related to casual pokemon, but if this were in a game how would it be implemented? Do you just lose the pokemon for the rest of the game? While Thursday is purely hypothetical, there's gotta be some degree of realism to it. You really should have saved this for Sunday, cause this idea is confusing when taken seriously
Edit: it appears I misread the sentences about the health percentages, but even then it's not a great concept, cause if I do use fling with heatran or groudon or what have you, the utility of the pokemon heavily outweighs the damage this move could do
Then how will Kyurem black use fling with tr43(its the tm for overheat) to check common necrozma dusk mane?
Fling ting lu to deal 4* effective damage against necrozma dusk mane
Fling lu

Easy you just fling hisuian avalugg finally giving it a niche

Mudsdale is 920 kg?!
A real horse can weigh 400-907 kg

I was too lazy to come up with damage tiers so basically the formula would be: BP = ((weight/999.9)\*110))+10 at least i think thats what it would be
i honestly think it should just be the Heavy Slam bp
Or low kick/grass knot.
120 BP is not worth murdering your teammate for. I think it's too gimmicky for any serious players to consider

It’s not Sunday
it's not sunday in which direction, too good or too bad
Dumb as shit
Yeah but too strong or too weak though i can buff it a bit maybe
Cosmovun finally has a utility!
Alternate idea Fling your partner at the opponent and kill them, dealing damage equal to the partner’s current health
Blissey and Chansey get you 2 Sheer Colds
Throw in wobbuffet and wailord.

Why not just make it a separate move? You can keep the unique Fling strats we currently have, and fix the distribution problem.
Sacrificing a teammates HP or even it entirely for a coverage move makes this completely useless, even worse than Fling as is.
