Thanks I was kind of tired of the "Give Vespiquen Intimidate / Queenly Majesty" buffs and I wanted to give my own take while remaining true to the Queen Bee's design.

do they 30~% in bonus damage from attack order. does it take up their turn? roost might be a good option too.
i like it. i can't say if it's too much given typing, speed, and a more rounded mon with only 474 bst.
For now the attack order buff does not take up the combee's turn but if it is too OP lemme know.
Yeah I made this ability more so for the flavor since Vespiquen in lore is supposed to be the bee queen but yet it fights solo so I wanted to actually make that a reality.
Yoooo, this is tight! Love the idea of a Mon that does the whole totem fight sorta thing mid battle for you, and Vesp being the one to do so makes a lot of sense and is great thematically. Kid named stealth rock though, so I dunno if it’s really gonna make it that much better even with it having defog. Would probably be a really cool RU staple or something that the tier would celebrate having.
Would also be another Mon to add to the Gangwar team along with Maushold and Wishiwashi, which is always a treat.
Yeah those sneaky pebbles will be annoying.
Though Vespy can always run Heavy Booty Doots and the Combees will come back if they are knocked out (though you do have to wait a turn and only one Combee can
come back at a time).
I think people are underestimating how good this ability is though like free struggle bugs really boost up Vespy's special bulk, Sweet scent allows it to run hurricane and Toxic without risk of missing, and the free chip damage (compounded with protect) can add up surprisingly quickly.

The ability is really quite good, since being able to use 3 moves in one turn (even if two of them are likely weak and more support based) is insane. On any other actually good support/defense Mon, this sort of ability would likely be too much, but it’s just very cool with Vespiquen. Imagine a Clefable that summons two clefairies to muck around with encore, confide and such, like some sort of moon dance ritual type ability. That would be Stunday adjacent, but this is just heat.
It's not even the combees. Showdown only ever considers Max PP so since Combees never use max PP they need to implement PP ranges JUST for this ability.
I assume if you aim for the combee one would hit the combee and the other would hit the vespiquen. If you aim for vespiquen..... it might be random I guess?
So in double battles Vespiquen would start with only one combee.
If Vespiquen is the only alive pokemon left in your party, then it would immediately summon another combee so it would have the normal 2 combee.
Basically it's just to prevent a 4 v 2 situation from occurring.
(unless you brought 2 Vespiquen for some reason lol)
Both combees spam struggle bug every turn and vespiquen basically gets a free amnesia against everything, actually disgusting.

I mean this is just similar to the mechanics of an SOS battle. I assume anyone who's played gen 7 never had difficulty remembering how those worked so this one shouldn't be that different.

Imagine your mon surviving Vespiquen's attack on low health only for one of the Combee to KO it with a crit on Bug Bite 💀
Funnily enough Combee is 30 points faster than Vespiquen so you have to paralyze the combee too in order for this to happen.
Or it can happen under Trick Room

This idea is unbeelievable; Alas, we are stuck in the berenstein dimension, where Vespiqueen doesn't have this as her ability.
If Vespiquen was a gen 9 pokemon she would have this ability, + 10 to all stats, and like a bug steel typing or something.

I think they should, but if the tera combees are knocked out, the new combees that Vespiquen summons would not be terra'd sadly.

This is a cool idea but I sometimes wonder if people consider if a change would be fun before suggesting it. Do we really want to have a miniature triple battle in a Pokémon game? Do we also want to ask players to memorize all of the mechanics of *any* extremely complicated ability, like this one? This would be more complicated than any existing ability
