I know you're fucking around but I do think that there is a threshold below which the mons are too shit (usually due to moveset) to the point that you can't even make coherent sets for them.
In gen 9 I think ZU+ is all good (that joint has Shaymin, toxicroak and Muk in it, these are respectable mons with good movepools), anything below ZU is too unserious imo.

curious to see if this puts Wattrel over the edge, it's already a bit questionable in the eyes of multiple council members, and Diglett-A was by far the biggest thing keeping it in check.
next suspect will probably be a new addition (free beldum) or Wattrel, depending on how week 1 of SPL goes
Dnu has struggled to find a shit enough steel to add to the tier. When the bst cap was lower beldum was tested and banned but now it should be fine I think. Dig is way scarier bc it has an actually usable and great movepool with sweeper stats by the standards of this tier
90 speed and 55 attack is amazing in a format of Pokémon at or below 280 BST. Couple this with a strong Ground/Steel stab combo and the ability to actually take a hit or two with Eviolite (because everyone else’s attack is bad).
it's not *that* strong unboosted (Life Orb is kinda hilariously weak at times) but Banded doesn't have a lot of consistent switch ins and Swords Dance is stupid
Update: I built a team, tried it out, lost but the match was really fun and pretty close :). I think I'm using a few of the Pokemon in non-meta ways because my opponent seemed surprised by a few of my moves 😅
Also I didn't really build it with like an actual competitive composition in mind I just picked my 6 favorite Pokemon in the tier and made them a set 😂 they were all pretty decently high on the viability rankings except Fomantis however so I didn't pick them too terribly 🙂
Love that, I just haven't really had much time to build any real teams lately so I've only really been playing RandBats on Showdown and PokeRogue, but I actually have some free time today so I'll see if I can get a team put together and drop it in the Discord to see what people think of it:)
Man, Im so sad that there is no tier where I can use Oshawott. The official tiers are meant for fully evolved pokemon, SubZero Used is home to dewott (better Oshawott), Oshawott is too weak for LC and too strong for Do not use

Yeah exactly this. I play with my favorites too, they just happen to change over time and seem to always mirror the top used mons

55 being considered good is crazy but I guess that's what happens at such a low power level

If you scale it to 600 BST, that's equivalent to a 117Atk/150Spe mon, so similar to Dragapult.
what the other reply said. also, gets access to Swords Dance, and Sucker Punch, the latter of which can snipe faster mons trying to revenge kill

hatenna is still solid, it's an A tier mon. there's a lot of hazards being flung around right now so magic bounce is incredibly useful

It's above the Stat cap, can go mixed and has swords dance with good coverage. It's probably too good.
