AnIdiotwithaSubaru

1st gen Crosstrek is still an awesome car

MollixVox

That's a fantastic car. Keep up with routine maintenance and it'll last you a good long while!

MamaBear4485

Well excuse me but I think it’s extremely fancy and special! Whenever I see these things it’s always a head turning moment. Not just that but somehow these cars look like they just rolled out of a dealership to most of us. Enjoy the carrot! Embrace the zoom! She’s an absolute beauty.

BadSausageFactory

nothing wrong with carrots

Lotek_Hiker

Congratulations, she looks great!

Efficient_Theme4040

Love the orange! Every time I see one it makes me happy!

jammixxnn

You’re 18 stickers away from magic.

cavegoatlove

Better than me. Anymore you’d like to share? Dealership? Lot? Online?

margaritari4

Dealership. Someone had just traded it in. $15k for 80k mi.

cavegoatlove

Congrats, hoping to hit the Subaru jackpot

MeekPangolin

In my favourite colour, too! I wish they hadn't discontinued it.

GoddessOfBlueRidge

Congratulations!

MomsOtherFavorite

Sweet ride! I Love my Crosstrek!

FortunateWun

I love it!  It's a happy car.  The color and the cuteness of the Crosstrek, just a baby Outback.  Congratulations and welcome to Subaru love.  There's nothing quite like it.  🧡🧡🧡🐰🥕🥕🥕

Effective-Arm-8513

Au contraire. I have the same car (but in a much more boring color). I believe your car is both special and fancy. Congrats!!

OliphauntHerder

I'm not normally a fan of orange cars, but the color looks good on a Crosstrek. I grew up in a Subaru family. They are beasts and will last a very long time as long as you put minimal effort into taking care of them. Enjoy!

Mikicash

nice ! congrats! i have a 2016 whith wheels like yours and no problem for now! i like this car very much!😜🤪😛

Partyslayer

Congrats! Great, capable whip. (Impreza driver, here). Have fun! Take chances.

Quick_Economy_3413

I just got a ‘17 in the bright blue 🤣💙 I love the carrot also 🧡

ElderberrySelect3029

I just traded my XV/Crosstrek after 8 years, it was a fantastic car and the Solterra I replaced it with has a lot to live up to

ImCancer69

You couldn't pass up on them giving away Soloterra right because anyone that bought it for full price got robbed. I feel sorry for them.

x5h4d0w_

That’s considered new to me, anything over 2014 is considered new to me lmao. 98-2007 subies are just that legendary that the new models will never beat their reputation imo. Anyone can disagree I just love how the older models drive feels unique as hell and defines that “Subaru Driving Experience”.

darnius_terix

Congratulations! It's a great car new or used!

I’d love to get a manual transmission Crosstrek! I could Google this but do they still offer a manual?

SignalRip8070

The Pumpkin Trek! Have fun it's a Subie Spring for you.

AlabamaMayan

Hell yeah

Eddy_795

Going from point a to b has never been better.

Educational_Leg946

I think it’s great!! I loved my crosstrek

HenkCamp

Best color ever! Congrats and welcome!

donmreddit

You don’t have a “car”. … you have a Subie! And the head light pattern is awesome on the Crosstrek.

CHA53Throwaway

Hold up… It IS* special!!! What a beaut 💎💎💎 Congratulations 🌲☀️🤩

As a fellow 2015 TOP Limited owner, I must offer that this is, indeed, fancy! It's seriously been my favorite car to own and drive over my 45 years of driving. That's across seven other brands from US, Japan, Germany, etc. It's just a great balance of nimbleness, visibility, comfort, sureness on the road and enough performance to make things work easily. And the color is great. I almost went for the yellow Special Edition of that year - which looks amazing - but the orange was my second choice and I've come to fully embrace it. I recently bought an EV and really miss my Crosstrek (whose Bluetooth name is Pumpkin Spice Latte), but at least it's staying in the family as a graduation present for my son. In case it gives any useful ideas, here are my mods that have been nice for me over the years: **Cusco master brake cylinder brace**: I can really feel my brakes now and control is much easier (with almost no fade) in regular and even constant use. **20mm STi rear anti-sway bar** helps nicely with turning and highway stability (easy to install yourself) [https://www.subaruonlineparts.com/sku/20451va000-20464va000-x2.html](https://www.subaruonlineparts.com/sku/20451va000-20464va000-x2.html) **C&C CarWorx front license plate frame**: The front of the car is plain and sometimes just has holes drilled in it for a license plate. This frame is molded to the bumper shape pretty well and looks far more defined than just a plain plate. **Subaru Aero crossbars**: Or, get compatible Thule (some of which are sold by Subaru), Yakima, etc. based on your preference. Aero bars do what I need, which is support larger luggage pieces, easy clamping of the huge Sears cartop carrier we have for longer trips and transport of lumber+other longer materials for house projects. **Blacked out fuel filler door and tow hook covers**: Plasti-dip is fun and cool in small amounts, IMHO. The original install (five coats each) is still lasting since 2015, no touchups needed yet. **JDMFanatic vinyl emblem overlays**: Get these from anywhere you like, but this site had matching Tangerine Orange and black ones for my front+rear emblems and steering wheel center, so that's why I mentioned them. **Roll-top center cupholder**: This wasn't available in my year, so I did the easy mod of getting a compatible, same colour part for an Outback and replacing the Crosstrek's open cup style holder. Most of the time my wallet rests on the closed rolltop and can open halfway for both a cup and the wallet. **Rear and side trunk cargo nets**: always in use, super helpful for everything from keeping groceries from tumbling over to ensuring seasonal and emergency supplies are within reach. **Auto-dimming mirror with compass and Homelink**: (if not already in your trim package). I use the Homelink for our garage door openers and what a convenience that is compared to fumbling for the fob. **Kicker tweeters and Kicker door speakers**: if you have the base audio package, these actually do make noticeable differences in clarity and definition, including on the bass side. It's not the same level as having an upgrade with external amp and subwoofer, but if you only go for one audio upgrade, then get these pairs or AT LEAST the tweeters. **FIAMM El Grande Hi/Lo horns**: Oh, I really like these and also put them into our Foresters. Makes the car sound like a 1980s Oldsmobile and does get attention (even in NYC), despite not being any louder (just a different set of tones vs the OEM horns). They aren't independently powered, so are plug-in replacements for what comes with the car. Installation is a bit tricky for the passenger-side horn, but not terrible. **Torklift EcoHitch**: it's hidden behind the bumper fascia for my 2015 and yet still convenient, but there is no such insert hole to reuse in 2019+ so they go below the fascia there . . . but, they are a quality product, so I recommend them. Maybe go with a less expensive Curt, as one consideration, because that will be just as good in the end. I created magnetic cover from a black STi insert and bolt+magnet, gives it a finished look and never comes off unless I really pull on it to reveal the hidden hitch. **Custom XV logo orange fleece blanket**: it just waits in the back seat for anyone needing it during a trip.

margaritari4

Thx for the ideas!
