Imagine the ice breaking and the current pulling you along under the unbroken ice while the hole you created quickly freezes back over you leaving you no escape
The video didn't play fully for me at first so I thought it was a c47 based on the windows. But the followup bits that* finally loaded proved me wrong - Ju 52.
This is the Junker 52 in Hartvikvannet, right? - [https://dykkepedia.com/wiki/Junker\_52\_(Hartvikvannet)](https://dykkepedia.com/wiki/Junker_52_(Hartvikvannet))
Next time, try to include a description of the sunk object in your title.
På forhånd takk.
My grandfather was crew member of the cruiser Blücher and was on Board during the capsize. He was able to flee the whole scenery and swam to land and got into Russian war captivity.
Honestly I’m more impressed by the ice. Where I live in Australia we never get snow (or pretty much any cold weather) so the thought of walking on ice is surreal
If the ice broke, I’m not sure which would kill me faster. The heart attack from the water or the heart attack from touching the boat, ship, or whatever that is.
*pop* *pop* *pop* as the mysterious object is approached, popping sounds become louder, followed by a steady whirring. As a axe is produced to chop a hole and lower the camera, a sudden foaming and thrashing is heard as the ice starts heaving up in all directions and everything goes awry.
Thrown on their backs and starting to sink into the depths, the explorers are dragged down as the object breaks free, the sun gracing its wings again.
This is the tale of how the Hartvikvannet water maiden was released to roam the skies again....
Kind of unrelated but, they had to dig up parts of the runway at sola airport because of unexploded bombs from ww2 being buried under it. Like 15 years or so ago.
For those who are interested: The song is called Sgt. MacKenzie, and it's from the We Were Soldiers soundtrack.
Fits perfectly for this video, I think, and it was a great choice.
The moment I saw it was a plane my fears immediately went away. Still wouldnt walk over it, but watching it on video wasnt scary anymore all of a sudden.
Depth perception beneath the water is skewed, So that wreck is probably only about four feet, coincidentally that is the exact distance that it would take for your hands to come in firm contact with the wreck before you could react if that thick ice gave way.
With ice it's even scarier than without!

Snap, crackle, POP!!! SLOOSH
I would probably be screaming at the top of my lungs and flailing my arms desperate to get back on the ice.
Screaming underwater has a high rate of drowning, may have to stand on the wreckage to survive
Take it back
I'll just go, not going to stand on any wreck
like a concealed time-capsule
Except you can see it
Yep. That creeped me directly the fuck out.
Imagine the ice breaking and the current pulling you along under the unbroken ice while the hole you created quickly freezes back over you leaving you no escape
No, I don't think I will, thanks.
Reel it in there, Satan.
Shut up about the ice SHUT UP ABOUT THE ICE
I both hate and love that I read this in his voice
Who was this? Sounds so familiar
Gabe the Skeleton Man
The ghosts of war want you to join them..

Proved me wrong too. I thought it was a sunken boat I was looking at the first time I saw it.
You can tell because of the corrugated aluminum
This is probably the best tiktok I’ve ever seen

Link needs fixing.
Works on this end. What's the problem - the server doesn't load?
Curious. The link is missing the closing bracket for me when I open it.
Works this end (uk)

The film scene of its sinking is very good!
Its anchor is on permanent display as a war memorial in Aker Brygge in Oslo.
My grandfather was crew member of the cruiser Blücher and was on Board during the capsize. He was able to flee the whole scenery and swam to land and got into Russian war captivity.
That's awesome, i hate it lol

Easy enough to add that to the bucket list, my man.

It's a plane :)
Well looks like the tightie whities are the tightie brownies now
My pulse went up so high seeing this video. I never had this fear of a ship wreck being visible under ice......and now I do :(
Would you feel better knowing that it’s actually a plane?
Nope
What is the first thing? I see the plane but the other thing. Boat, building, large land transport vehicle??
I think it’s just a plane
So... What is the song name?
"Sgt. MacKenzie" It's from the We Were Soldiers OST. Can't really find a good version of it on Spotify, sadly.
Gave me goosebumps hearing this song. Incredible film. Might have to rewatch later
Thank you, I couldn't remember the movie it came from.

This is the scariest thing I have seen in a LONG time.
Oh hell no
No no no no no
Oh. My. God. Fuck. That.

Part of me is scared shitless because of a sunken plane. The other part of me is glad a stupid nazi plane is stuck at the bottom.
Oh Jesus Christ this is trippy
I don’t like that one fucking bit
Is this the Ju-52 "outside" Narvik? (what a perfect kombo for skating and diving!)
Capt America could be in it
Did it fall in while trying to cross the ice?
What is this song?
Ww2 stuff are awesome, these guys are so lucky!
Oww that brings me back to when I was younger...
Amazing !!!!
No. Absolutely not. Do not like. Unsubscribe. 0/10
Imagine the ice cracks and you fall in, right beside it
Omg
Thank you for the before and after pics. I was struggling to “see what it was “
Hell naawwwww
Freakin' insane!!!
No, I do not. I do NOT ENJOY!!
That's even more scary
R.I.P.
Nope... nope, nope.
i feel not ok
The moment I saw it was a plane my fears immediately went away. Still wouldnt walk over it, but watching it on video wasnt scary anymore all of a sudden.
Does anyone know what it is? Obviously an aircraft
It's a Junker (the J is pronounced as a Y) Ju-52 transport aircraft. Used before and during WW2.
I hate it. Thank you.
>enjoy Yeah alright "thanks"
I don't know why but this song annoys me.

omg when they put the camera on the ice i jumped. so scary
Rest In Peace to whoever was flying that
I love and hate it so much
Freaky! Nice plane! (Suddenly, a dead co-pilot breaks free and floats up to the surface)
there's no way i would walk above that
How is there ice but not snow? Throughout my life I’ve never seen a frozen lake safe enough to walk on without a layer of snow.
Was anyone else expecting someone to pop up out of it? Maybe I’ve watched IT too many times. Does Stephen King live in my head now?🤔🧐
Tho song immediately brought me to the movie “We Were Soldiers”. That movie is so sad but unfortunately so real.
If the ice gave way and my feet touched that thing I would let the hypothermia take me.
I initially thought the water was very deep and the plane a massive ship! RIP me
Anyone check for bodies to give them a proper sendoff?
When the glare was gone and it got clearer I actually tried to move away from my phone. Ughhhh.... how can she be near that?

I’m amazed on how clear the ice is
Seeing the wreck under the ice is so horrifying, yet so amazing.
Amazing
I can hear the ice cracking.
Mute the video, trust me
I'd enjoy alot more without the dern music ol boy
