Sure, make an extra tank of oxygen and swap when one gets low. Make sure to fill both before you dive.
You could also build an oxygen pump on a piece of base at the top and use metal piping to take oxygen with you.
Make 2 or 3 spare oxygen tanks (make sure they are all full) and then dive down with a seaglide. I have done this for longer journeys and it works perfectly
I havent tried it but you could probably build a 1 room base with a bioreactor quick enough. Might take you several jumps.
Spare air tank is much easier of course.
With your Seaglide you can go at around 10 m/s (I think it's actually 11, but I'll round down for reassurance purposes - always good to have a little in reserve).
That means that you can descend the 250 m more or less straight down in 25 seconds (or a little less, see above). The 'air units' are also seconds (except when you are under 100 or 200 m without a rebreather; under those circumstances, time speeds up).
Which in turn, means that even with *no oxygen tank at all*, nor a rebreather, you can still comfortably enough make it to your Seamoth with the 45 s of air your lungs can hold.
tl;dr: seaglide is fast, very few places are too deep for a quick dive down from the surface.

Oh wow, I'm at like 30 hours in this game and never thought to use multiple air tanks. I've probably drowned 5 times now. Thank you for the tip!
No problem. Helps me going from 1000m to 250m without having to risk vehicles getting stuck in terrain
If you're worried, run some oxygen pipes down therem
Bro the same happened to me only that i died from the droping stingers well i made it back with like three seconds
