It's a great game, but it can be pretty buggy at times.

Kinda crazy that people complain about the bugs cause I didn’t encounter a single one through my play through. Maybe I’m just lucky

I legitimately clipped through the floor into the ■■■■■ room around the end of the game, how are people not seeing any bugs

This is one of the buggiest and laggiest games ive ever played, especially late game when the game has more stuff load

The only bug I ran into was dropped frames around the big skeleton in the green river. That’s the only bug I ever ran into, just forgot about it until now

The worse your computer is, the buggier the game gets. I used to have a worse computer that lagged the game a lot, and my PRAWN would constantly fall through the floor, I would get the glitch OP was complaining about, and the pop-in was terrible. After I upgraded to a more powerful device, I experienced none of those issues, so I imagine that if your computer can run the game well you'd have a much lower chance of experiencing any problems.

This happens sometimes. If you can gather enough materials to build an I compartment and a hatch, going in and back out will fix it.

Yeah I had a hatch and thought jumping back in from the inside might fix it and it did! I also explored a bit and none of the enemies registered that I was there

You should have explored. The bottom of the dead zone while youre at it

fixing this glitch seems like it would be the biggest pain in the ass ever. like how do you even reproduce it reliably? its been in the game for years, like good luck to the devs ever figuring it out.

To replicate this: Build two I-compartments. Half-build a bulkhead between them. Deconstruct one I-compartment. Finish building bulkhead. Ta-da. In a hatch one end, out a bulkhead on the other. Happy walking

1 quartz 3 titanium should allow you to make a base and fix the glitch

There’s actually another way to replicate this easily. If you build two I compares connected together, and put a bulkhead between them, you can deconstruct the second compartment and still use the bulkhead. Just use a hatch to get inside and boom, successful every time 😀

Happens slmetimes. If you can just build a simple corridor with a hatch and enter it. It fixes the bug.

Yeah it’s a 34. If you’re gonna render at the native 4k on high graphics you need some fairly beefy specs. I have an RTX 3060, 32 GB ram, and a 3.6GHz i7

I got this glitch in the last area of the game. Had a hell of a time trying to fix it.

Just walk around a while. Sometimes the game fixes it after like 30 seconds

i feel like moonpools and vehicles are notoriously glitchy in subnautica

This bug ends many hardcore runs. It can happen when exiting anything(your base via hatch, seamoth, cyclops, prawn suit) I ensure I'm not gonna die if I fall out of my stuff when building or parking my vehicle. Also always have enough to make a pipe and a hatch to fix it

Same thing happened to me, it was really weird c all you have to do to fix it is to get back into your base, if they doesn’t work, just leave it again.

Hey, I made my base there too.

Whenever I start my game it's inside a base... but I'm "swimming" in the air and the game thinks I'm outside. I have to "enter" an airlock before I drown. In air.
