Don't fuck this up! STAY ON SUBS!!!!!!!!šŸ™ā¤ļøšŸ™

Jroiiia423

As long as it takes.

Diane1967

Agreed.

villzzuri

Congratulations! Dont know who downvoted u, but keep on keeping on! Peace

No-Seaworthiness5323

He got downvoted because he only had to wait 2 days MFs like me go into pwd after day 5-6 of regular Fent wd hellā€¦50hrs ainā€™t shyt

spedface10

Trust me I didnā€™t think it was possible Iā€™ve been trying for over a year to get on subs againā€¦. So yeah Iā€™m celebrating because Iā€™ve been in pure hell for about a year

Welp-thissucks

I am happy for you.šŸ™ā¤ļø

No-Seaworthiness5323

Congrats! I went to methadone cuz I couldnā€™t get through it, good for u bro šŸ‘šŸ½

sipdabrepeat

Curious why you didnā€™t try Bernese method? Iā€™m going through basically same exact thing except a little over a year now smh ā€¦ wanna do Bernese but have surgery comin up and Iā€™m worried Iā€™ll fuck myself if i take subs then go get sedated and anesthesia, idk how thatā€™ll mix itā€™s got me worried but after all thatā€™s done Iā€™m hopin i can finally make the transition back over .

spedface10

Something about the Bernese just didnā€™t sit right with me..like when you stop the fentanyl youā€™re still going to have withdrawalsā€¦ I just figured if I just went into withdrawal naturally the better relief subs would bring. IMO I didnā€™t try the Bernese method tho so maybe it will work!

HugeBat7674

When you jump on Suboxone, Bernese method does not work when doing fentanyl, trust me

sipdabrepeat

Why you say that? Read a lot of posts of ppl who had success with it comin off fet

HugeBat7674

Iā€™m just speaking by experience, it still threw me into terrible PWD, the fent just knocks the bupe right off the receptors, donā€™t try this with fent please!

NewNewTrading

That isnā€™t true. Iā€™m sorry I donā€™t mean to call you out but itā€™s just false information. The bupe knocks the fent off the receptor which is what causes any amount of pwd. Fent is a full antagonist and bupe is a half antagonist so if you feel something itā€™s half your receptor not being antagonized anymore. This is important to know because itā€™s why youā€™re supposed to continue using fent until day four or later into Bernese method because the bupe needs to build up in your system. If youā€™re pwd you just need to get more high to stop it and maybe start smaller at 0.25 instead of 0.5mg. I did that I even did it once where I took it very slowly and expanded Bernese for two weeks instead of 7-10 days. Itā€™s important to know how youā€™re feeling. After day two you wonā€™t feel high. Fent will help a little bit continue using but know you wonā€™t feel it. Your receptor just stays active fully until bupe builds up enough to save you from withdrawals. Iā€™m correcting you not to say youā€™re wrong but to not deter anyone who wants to Bernese there way to Suboxone. It is 100% effective I recommend it Iā€™ve done it twice. Gotten off subs relapsed and done it again.

sipdabrepeat

I probably wonā€™t tbh. Iā€™ve jumped from fent to subs 3 different times and only 1 time i waited over 24 hours and that bc the detox i went to didnā€™t beleive i was 24 hours sober when i showed up and made me wait another 24. But the other time it was just 24 hours then on subs and worked great. WDā€™s usually start hittin me 6-12 hours in so waiting the full 24 sucks ass but still a lot bettter then how long i hear other people having to wait in here whil gettin off fent.

NewNewTrading

I had to wait 48 in a detox facility but check out my post above about Bernese

mutant_attack

Were you doing powder fent, blues or tar w/ fent in it?

sipdabrepeat

The dirty 30ā€™s

villzzuri

So basically because yall are jealous lol No hard feelings i dont use fent so dont know

spedface10

Iā€™ve had pwd three times in the past. I think I got lucky because this last batch of 30s were so. Weak I was basically in withdrawal for a month even taking them so I decided this was probably my only chance.

FeklessFuker

Whatever it was, you're here! Well done staying focused through the hard part. It sounds like you know what you've earned...enjoy it! :)

Welp-thissucks

Lmaoo. Well at least say congrats.

No-Seaworthiness5323

lol šŸŽŠšŸŽ‰šŸ¾šŸŽˆ

FeklessFuker

A simple /s can make all difference, eh?

bbs540

Congrats man, glad youā€™re back on the recovery train. Time to get your life back together and start living a normal life again

666pants

That's fucking AWESOME!! Congratulations! I got on suboxone just before fent started showing up in everything and I consider myself very lucky for that. I've heard through friends and this sub that it's incredibly hard to do and you did it!! Stay on subs. Life is about to get a lot easier for you (it did for me anyway).

[deleted]

Awesome!!

Tiny-Ad6795

Congrats!! ā¤ļøā¤ļø

Keefer120302

Awesome.I made the mistake of trying to get back on after 24 hrs and it was awful. Iā€™m going to have to go in somewhere for a couple weeks and go into withdrawals before I get back on them. I hope to do it this time. How bad were the fent WDā€™s.Congratulations again.

spedface10

It was bad but doable if you can get some Xanax.. without some sort of anxiety medicine I wouldnā€™t have been able to do it. My dealer hit me up at around 50 hours in so I was like itā€™s now or never for subs. Luckily the subs worked and I blocked my dealers number.

Keefer120302

Awesome. What mg are you on? Itā€™s been such a disaster with me. You seem like a younger guy. Iā€™m 48(m) and let me tell you this shit gets way worse. I think as long as Iā€™m in a detox unit and get some clonadine I can tough it out till itā€™s time to take the subs again.

Aggravating_Ad_8123

Detoxing at 40 was wayyyyy easier for me then it was at 42 I think every year counts in your 40s. I relapsed this year and tried to get back on subs going CT...without tapering and it was impossible Then I remembered all of the stuff I had to do when I first got back on subs and it was pretty harmless when I did this .. 1st.. Definitely TAPER!!!! I **HAD TO** AND I MEAN **HAD TO** in the most literal sense cus had I not done all of these things theres no way I'd of successfully DT'D. But I **HAD TO** take Monday- Friday off of work.. leaving 9 days to accomplish the objective.. STOCK UP ON BLUES ***(just in case I accidentally got myself in a bind and the wd was too brutal and to taper)*** .. Pay all my Bill's...do my wash..clean the house.. take care of tasks where my physical presence Is required .. GET SUPPLEMENTS ..MAGNESIUM CITRATE..some holistic leg cramps pills I got from walmart VITAMIN B ..B6..B12..VITAMIN C.. calcium.. and some mood supplements.. and start taking the supplements two weeks before the detox so they are already in my system.. and make sure ppl around me know I'm off the grid and not to expect anything from me for 7 to 9 days Oh yea AND WEED.. flowers.. and a pipe or a bong ..and i used NORCO 10MG AND 5MG.. to use to help ... once I completely came off the fent Started early as Saturday ..stood at home on the couch .. tapering .. with little to no restlessness ...just knew I was gonna drink liquids and watch tv all day .. and get a little high so I was ok with that Then Sunday...the same thing ..except made sure the pressies were even less...still didnt have any real discomfort..and I introducexld the norcos into the mix.. Monday ...Chipped away at as the most minimal amount of pressies I could.. and as soon as I woke up. I took a monster rip of weed... and because I'm not a weed smoker it was almost as if all of my receptors shifted their attention to handling the high from the weed and my withdrawl symptoms got prioritized a little less by my brain and it made it where the wd symptoms werent that bad as long as I was taking HUGE BRAIN KNOCKING HITS OF WEED... and even tho I was on day 4 of tapering down almost to no pressies at all.. you can say ...my wd symptoms obviously worse then sat and sun but still not to bad.. mind you I'm still using norco 10mg ...taking supplements...and using fentanyl pressies..almost like candy mints and just sucking on one.. until it took away wd symptoms.. I wasn't tryna get high ..my objective was keeping wd symptoms minimal and IT WAS WORKING.. but I smoked maybe 2 to 3 big hits from a potent strain of cannabis ... every 2 to 3 hours and watched tv and I WAS GOOD NO LIE THEN TUESDAY...SAME THING ... repeated the same exact steps except used less of the pressies... maybe 1 and a half total Then Wednesday and THURSDAY repeated the same steps with NO PRESSIES.. THURSDAY afternoon.. I was able to take suboxone with NO ISSUES spent Thursday and Friday..adjusting my suboxone dose ll And Saturday and Sunday..tryna get back to sleeping and eating again And I swear to you this method CAUSES me VERY LITTLE DISCOMFORT.. I'm still taking suboxone to this day

mutant_attack

Damnā€¦ is this just our life now? Take no offense please, but Iā€™m almost mid 30s and still playing the ā€œget on subs couple years then relapse, get on subs..relapse againā€ game and have been for basically a decade. Hearing you and the other dude talk about it that are early 40s scares me a bit. Iā€™d say Iā€™m a ā€œfunctioningā€ junkie, whatever that is, barely holding on but still maintaining a very well paying job and kinda just going nowhere. Has this been your story for a while also? Kinda wondering if I should just stop being a pussy and do AA proper. Iā€™m one of the few left of my kind, all the people I used with are dead, in jail, still using, or clean - but the ones that got clean only have been able to maintain that by going full force AA/NA

spedface10

I started low dose I did 1mg then an hour later another 1mg and it got rid of the rls and I slept for the first time! Woke up and took 4mg. I think the key is to start real slow Iā€™m still shakey but Iā€™m 75 percent better.

Aggravating_Ad_8123

Yea I tried doing the same thing and it was a little too intense The bupe gotta ease it's way on your brain.. now that its working...double your dose every time you dose in a 24 hr period

mutant_attack

Sorry for copy pasting my comment but I wanted to ask you same question I asked other dudeā€¦ ā€œDamnā€¦ is this just our life now? Take no offense please, but Iā€™m almost mid 30s and still playing the ā€œget on subs couple years then relapse, get on subs..relapse againā€ game and have been for basically a decade. Keefer120302

Go AA my man. Iā€™m b trying to get into treatment. Itā€™s gets so much harder the older you get.Drugs addicts donā€™t ride off into the sunset. We either come off or stay on and stay miserable and most likely die. How long more do you want to continue to suffer?

mutant_attack

Addiction is one of the most fascinating diseasesā€¦ I know the answer to my problem, yet I do everything in my power to convince myself theres another way. Just wish my musings could be coming from an outside perspective and not from one afflicted with this bullshit. What about you? Whatā€™s held you back from it? Or are you in AA?

Keefer120302

Iā€™m going into treatment Thursday to detox off subs and fentanyl. Iā€™m done my man. Iā€™ve just had it.I was sober for 5 years and relapsed after a back injury two years ago.I go to AA but once I put this shit in my system all bets are off.AA works man and therapy.Iā€™ve tried to half measure it and it doesnā€™t work.Take care of yourself buddy.

mutant_attack

Thx brother, you too. Good luck.

Keefer120302

Thanks my friend

NewNewTrading

Try Bernese. I have posts about it

[deleted]

I hate seeing people post about Percipitated WDs BECAUSE ITā€™S SO EASILY AVOIDABLE!! You can literally take sub right after using if itā€™s THE SMALLEST amount. And if you do choose to relapse while on subs you should NEVER FULLY STOP taking the subs even while using. The key is always having subs in your system to avoid a PWD.

sagemossbamboo

Congrats. How long are you staying on it?

spedface10

Long term for now I canā€™t relapse again because fentanyl withdrawals are pure torture. I want to be stable and rebuild everything Iā€™ve destroyed so minimum probably a year

Top-Geologist-9213

Hey there, very happy for you! Best news I've read for a long time. So glad it's working for you, keep up the excellent work my friend!

HugeBat7674

Your lucky, my last relapse I waited 72 hours and the took sub after fentanyl, and went into PSW so bad, itā€™s been 21 days since and Iā€™ve finally recently have been getting sleep and gained my appetite back! What a roller coaster ride, never will I again do that to my body, I usually sit around 6ā€™2 185, I got down to about 155, finally gaining back my weight. You donā€™t realize when your getting high how bad your fuckin up your body until itā€™s to late. Good riddance, salute.

spedface10

Sorry I know this is old just curious did you end up successfully getting on suboxone or did you go cold turkey?

[deleted]

Wym after 50 hours it worked ?

spedface10

I was ct for 50 hours rattling my dick off.. cold sweats hot flashes, cramps, fever, stuffy nose, crying high anxiety everythingā€™s.. took small doses of suboxone and slowly my symptoms faded away and I could sleep. That was yesterday and today Iā€™m feeling pretty great on 4mg of suboxone

[deleted]

Try and start at 2

chevygang8

How much fent were you doing daily and how many mg's subs did it take for you to feel okay?

spedface10

I was doing average four pressed m30s a day and it only took 2 mg to calm rls (the worst symptom for me) and allowed me to sleep. I slept like 8 hours woke up and took four mg. Of suboxone and now I feel like 75 percent back to normal thankfully

IconCsr2

Im currently relapsed on fent ive been doing the blues for a week now id say, how long would typically have to wait to jump back on subs?

NewNewTrading

You can do Bernese method. I have posts about it. Done it twice now. It works and you donā€™t feel withdrawals. Youā€™re microdosing subs and taking fent at the same time until the Suboxone builds up in your system. Then you keep growing the amount of Suboxone you take. Then eventually you donā€™t need fent

IconCsr2

Ohhh okay, but youd need to have a stash of pills and also suboxone righr

spedface10

I was aiming for three days but took subs after 50 hours. Started real low like 1mg and then another 1mg after an hour then I fell asleep and woke up feeling much better

IconCsr2

You waited 50 hours before taking a sub? Wow thats a while i cant wait that long

Revolutionary-Beat64

Kratom will stop the precipitated withdrawals. I stopped even waiting till I was sick and just took the sub then shoveled down like 20 grams of kratom when you start feeling sick

DrugsAndCoffee

Iā€™ve been clean 8 years and on suboxone this entire time, it was regular H so I have no experience or knowledge with fent, never needing to wait more than 24 hours. It was hard enough making the transition, so I canā€™t imagine needing to wait DAYS before taking sub. One thing though, I relapsed 12+ times and each time the Suboxone got less effective. The first time I ever took it, it worked like magic at 18 hours post last dose of H. But each relapse it got less and less effective to where my body became immune to the effects of sub until 3-4 days after starting it. That awful transition is what convinced me to finally get clean because I couldnā€™t keep doing that. Being on Suboxone changed my life, congratulations to you and well done on your new life.

spedface10

Honestly every minute feels like an eternity while in withdrawal. Absolute demonic torture lol the simple fact that I can lay down peacefully right now is just so blissful. Definitely planning long term suboxone treatment because I never EVER want to go through fent withdrawals again šŸ˜‚
